"Most are gone or dead, but I’ve got Nepeta and Vriska on board. Damara has her quarters, but has apparently wandered off, which isn’t the best." The assumption was accurate, and Aranea was headed that way. "Do you happen to have looked at the manifest, by the way? The more quickly we can go through the contents in cargo the better-I’d like to take anything particularly valuable." When they entered the bay, she was immediately opening crates to inspect their contents, not about to pass up this opportunity. It was a salvage vessel, after all.
"T) (ey've supplies for food and water, take both. Six crates in the back left. Two boxes of repair parts, there's some actual valuables they took from Vriska's ship in front, over on the right and I think they have some newly stolen Imperial shipments behind it. They should still be marked with the seal." She absolutely did not already demand to know what was onboard earlier through 'carefully lead conversation', she just read a manifest and a map. Obviously. "That's...that's not good to hear." Sighing softly, she nodded, settling on her feet as she went to start dragging a crate of treasure towards the back of the bay. "I'm glad you're all alright at least."
"I wouldn’t have tried to shoot you anyway, blades have always been more effective against Tyrian trolls, in my experience. And you seemed busy enough, so don’t worry about it-just don’t try to hug me and ruin my clothes." She wasn’t rattled enough that she couldn’t tease, a bit, and she stuck her tongue out as she waved. "But come on, if you gave their pilot his last bit of life to keep things up and running, we don’t have much time-the atmosphere is already way too shallow to breathe well."
Without waiting to make sure Feferi was following her, and confident that while the fish was so many things, she wasn’t a *smarter* combatant than her, as well as fairly certain she wouldn’t be attacking her, she turned back around and gestured for Feferi to follow as they began to make their way back to the 8litz.
Laughing quietly, she conceded and patted the pilot chest before pivoting and walking over to her friend, arms at ease by her sides. "I'm still able to breath somewhat well, but it's certainly not a pleashore cruise. However, I'll be making a note of that." She's young, but she's tired at the moment, not much caring as long as she got off the newly dead ship. Gosh she'd made an utter mess of the place. Woops.
Dandering behind her, she was happy to head towards the loading bay, assuming that she'd tethered the ships together to slip between them with the easiest access point available. "Have you been well? Who else is onboard with you? Is the crew alright? I saw Nepeta online, at least."
The ship was far, far too quiet. Nearly pitch black, too, and the atmosphere was only just enough to breath in. Which, considering it should by all means be a perfectly functioning ship.
It was terrifying, and it evoked memories of both Meenah’s Aranea had known well in her lifetime; the Empress and the Goddess. Here was hoping Feferi would receive her well for all that.
Truding forward slowly, she began making her way towards the helm, passing the occasional lifeless corpse, wounds ranging from the signature punctures of a 2x3dent to scratches and teeth.
While Feferi had survived, it was clear that whatever more innocuous facade she’d show them in the past had been dropped, now, when necessary. And so it was with swords drawn that she very slowly opened the door to the cockpit.
Feferi, blood soaked and busy keeping an already dead pilot on the edge of life, was busy trying to rerigg the connection they had to the ship so that the basic function of it would be kept up long enough for her 'rescue' to arrive.
It'd been a trip, going from luxury passenger on a pirate ship to a proper captive, thinking at first she could just resume the same place on this new ship as she had on the last one. She was wildly wrong, but that was for another time.
Hauling the sputtering pilot from the floor and onto a control panel, she gave them a stern look and pressed kisses over their forehead, watching as life flickered back into their eyes again for a bit. "Just keep the temperature and air going, that's all I need f-" She froze, the sound of the door opening to a very confused flick of her fins.
"I thought I killed everyone on the ship. If you're going to try shooting me, it didn't work last time. It's not worth another try." Giving the pilot another heft, she settled their half ragdoll body where it was, turning with her weapon in hand to face a silhouetted Aranea. "Oh!!! You made it! I'm so glad! Sorry about the mess, I didn't reely have time to clean up. Everything's been a bit short notice."
