Compliation of most of the showa riders with their skintones picked out/color-drop tooled. Screenshots were taken during scenes where I thought it looked to be them under some form of neutral or regular lighting. People are free to use these as references, I'd appreciate it honestly if people did, but ultimately I am so incredibly exhausted by the whitewashing prevalent in this fanbase, and I wanted objective evidence that these people are not white.

Whitewashing is bad in every context but it is even more disgusting when it is done to real living human beings, especially since some of these actors are very much still alive. They’re not toys. They’re not dolls you can do whatever you want to. Give them basic fucking respect for their appearances.

If this post makes you mad and you have no desire to ask yourself why, you are a racist, and you will be getting blocked. I won’t support racists and whitewashers in any capacity on my blog.

Ayumi smiled, glad to see that Misaki was doing well after all the events of Dark Matter.

I wish Neos was so much better than it is. I am deeply fond of it for some reason but it is simply. a show.

I've got so many headcanons with some of them being easy changes like

-write Hino out and replace with human Natsumi for real archery rivalry yuri. And also bc the women tend to be better written in this show (except poor Nana)

-give every character a focus ep bc Nana, Uematsu, and Kagura imo don't have them.

-weird that our main character doesn't really develop. Make the series double the length. Add some development for our boy! You could introduce Zamu boy Esura way earlier and have him remain distrustful of humans for many episodes and have plenty of rich interaction between him and Kagura as well as all of the HEART team. And since we've added human Natsumi she can even be anti-Zamu considering she was impersonated by a murderous one and have a mini arc with Esura about that

It really is fun having the context of the actor's Ryuki character when seeing Kagura be a hero for this whole series

Tojo absolutely thought killing Yui was the equivalent of what Kagura's doing here: saving the future. Difference is Kagura is correct while Tojo was completely misinformed by his professor and unable to be disuaded.

I kind of wish I'd had the context of him playing a purely heroic and kind character before watching Ryuki to make the difference in role hit harder.

#Tho I'm also a weirdo who decided Tojo is one of my fav characters in that series (aside from the generally liked ones who I do also like)
