Even if he had only been here for a few weeks. “I guess you blame the people you got the gift from then. It’s a pretty good movie.”

‘ I’M NOT REALLY sure how i’d call someone a pet. it’s a little, weird to me. ’ he rubbed at his arm uncomfortably, giving a nervous laugh. he wasn’t sure how to feel about this. all of this information was confusing to say the least. ‘ i guess. not much of a gift if no one wants to be here. ’

“Eh, it’s nothing scary really.“ She shrugged her shoulders at that. “I don’t mind that stuff.” Sophia explained. She gave him a look before continuing to tell him about this place. “I mean like I was taken from my home. Drugged and then I woke up here.”

‘ IT’S JUST NOT something that i’m interested in. ’ seamus tried once more, not knowiing how to make it much clearer. the idea alone was hard not to cringe at. ‘ wait, you were what? what kind of place is this? ’

Kieran didn’t know what to make of the seemed hesitation in the other male’s tone and his eyebrows furrowed as the male turned the question back at him. “Not here by choice, this isn’t something I signed up for like you did apparently,” there was a hint of annoyance laced within his voice.

‘ I DIDN’T REALLY sign up for it. ’ he mumbled beneath his breath. ‘ it was a... gift, i guess. i didn’t really know what i was getting into. they just said it was a place to unwind, get a bit more comfortable with people or whatever. ’ they all found it weird, his lack of sexual appetite. seamus figured this was supposed to fix him or whatever they were thinking.

Camilla had been on her way to a busy day full of doing nothing, when she had passed by a taller male who reached out to hold their upper arm. Pausing, Camilla glanced to the hand around her arm, then up to the owner of said arm. She recognized him as her Master, someone who had little patience with her and her personality. “You mean aside from having sex with anything that walks? You have free reign on the place, go do anything you want.”

GRITTING HIS TEETH, seamus realisd that if there was one person he wanted to see potentially less than his brother, it was his assigned PET. she was everything that he disliked about people, just like huxley, and as far as he could find there was nothing compatible about them. ‘ anything that walks as long as it’s not you. ’ he fired back, glaring at her.

“Yeah, that’s what the masters around call us.” Carson explained. He shrugged his shoulders. “Did you now know that this is like one of those sex mansions? And yeah it was. It has the actor Dylan O’Brien in it. It’s about these two guys that want a job at Google.”

‘ SO YOU’RE SAYING everyone goes around callin’ themselves masters and pets? isn’t that a bit weird? ’ he wondered aloud, not meaning to be offensive if it came across that way. ‘ i mean, i knew that’s what it was. kinda. i didn’t get a bunch of details. it was a gift sorta thing. huh, maybe i’ll watch it then. ’

“Uh huh. Though it may not actually be called the red room. I just kind of gave it that name really. That’s because it kind of is. Except most of us didn’t agree to come to this place and be “submissives.”

‘ I THINK I’D be pretty worried to go in there if it was called that. not really inviting unless... i mean, unless you’re into that sort of thing? ’ he wasn’t the most sexually versed person, but he knew that some people liked pain. something she said, however, made him pause. ‘ what do you mean you didn’t agree? ’

‘ JUST FINDING MY way through this place. like how do i get to my cabin and what is there worth looking into. i’ve been told there’s a theatre and a pool? ’

As the moments progressed thew wheels in Kieran’s head turned and he was starting to recall some moments before his awakening. “Is that why you’re here?” he inquired as he crossed his arms over his chest, although it was obvious that wasn’t why he himself was here, he wondered about the other male.

SHRUGGING WITHOUT VERBALLY answering initially, seamus figured that more or less so was why he was here, right? it was a gift and he never looked a gift in the mouth. not that his friends back home were the type of guys you said no to. ‘ i guess so, yeah. is that not what you’re here for? ’

‘ AM I? ’ SEAMUS sighed, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly as he dropped his hold on her with the opposite hand. ‘ can you tell me who would be the right person to ask? ’

Right… His cabin. That wasn’t something Ellie could help him with, she hadn’t really learnt which cabin belonged to who, only knew the one where she was luckily staying. “Well, I just saw a guard over there, maybe you should ask him? I’m a pet here, so I’m afraid I can’t help much with that.“

‘ A PET HERE? ’ he’d heard the term vaguely, but no one had quite explained what that meant. ‘ sorry if this is kind of an obvious question, but what is a pet? ’

“Not every where, but to most places around here at least.” Sophia said. Though she often did that cause she wanted to hang out with at least someone. “Uh huh, one of the masters took me there once. Yeah, you know with like sex toys in there and other things like that?”

‘ A ROOM FULL of sex toys that’s called the red room... sounds kinda like fifty shades of grey to me, but i’m not really sure about all of that. guess there’s more stuff than i expected. ’

“Well, the pets as they call us just aren’t allowed to go there unsupervised. Don’t ask me, I don’t know the real reason why we’re not allowed to be there alone.” Carson said with a shrug. Carson thought for a moment, trying to think about the last movie he watched. “Um. I think it was The Internship.”

‘ PETS? ’ IDLY HE wondered just what he’d signed himself up form, but maybe it was a thing for some people. ‘ so is this like a roleplay thing? and uh, never heard of it. was it any good? ’

“It’s okay. Don’t worry about it. No harm done.” Carson explained. “Well, most of the places I’m not even allowed to go in without a master. So, I haven’t been too many of the rooms. I’ve been too the library, movie theater room, and I’ve been outside for like free time and stuff so I’ve seen the beach. Do any of those places interest you?”

‘ NOT ALLOWED? WHY? ’ restricted areas seemed to negate the purpose of being here; what kind of paradise had limitations? ‘ the theatre, yeah. if they’ve got a good selection. what’s the last thing you watched? ’

“Well, Most of the places I’ve been too I’ve had a master show me where to go.” Sophia explained. “So, I don’t always pay attention to where we’re going. But I’ve been to the pool,the beach, and this one room that I think is like the red room? Or something? I don’t know what it’s called.”

‘ YOU’VE GOT TO have someone with you to go around? ’ maybe, he figured, she just hated to be alone which wasn’t uncommong. ‘ there’s a pool here? yeah, i think i saw that in the things my friend showed me, yeah. red... room? i’m sorry, what? ’
