Aeri stormed down the hallway of Scarabia. Sevens, he's going to explode if Kalim hosts one more party...

Deciding he needs a breather, he stomped over to a balcony, looking out over the dorm. There isn't much he enjoys, but Aeri has to admit that the feeling of wind ruffling the feathers of his wings is quite nice.

The vulture beastman didn't even realise someone else was already at the balcony

A few feet away stands a very stunned and slightly confused boy with purple hair. His eyes are obscured at the moment from the lighting, but he seems exhausted as well. “…?”

Startled, Aeri's wings flared out, one hitting the wall and one hitting the other student. "Woah! Who are you?" He'd probably walked past this guy many times, but Aeri rarely pays attention to other students.

“Uh…I’m Amir. I think we’re in the same phys ed class?” [Amir tilts his head. His eyes are still mostly obscured, but they seem to be either blue-grey or gold (depending on how the light reflects on them).]

"Ohhhh. Yeah." Aeri nodded, stuffing his hands into his pocket. "Mhm, it's a pretty boring class. So easy when I can just fly everywhere. Then the teach will ban me for flying and that sucks EVEN MORE."

He kicked the edge of the balcony with the back of his boot and an annoyed huff.

“…hm.” [Amir leans against the balcony, staring at the sky.] “…quite the party, huh…?”

[aeri-and-co]

"Yeah." Aeri snorted, sitting on the ledge of the balcony. He doesn't care if it's dangerous; his wings will catch him if he falls anyway. "Ohh, and my name's Aeri, by the way."

“Nice to meet you.” [Amir nods politely.]

[aeri-and-co]

"I guess it's nice to meet you. I suppose you seem more tolerable than anyone else in the dorm." Aeri muttered, crossing his arms. He definitely isn't the best at complimenting people.

[Amir raises an eyebrow in slight amusement.] “Y’know, compliments don’t typically have ‘I guess’ or ‘I suppose’ added to them.” [His tone is lightly teasing, he doesn’t mean this maliciously.]

"Errrr..." Aeri huffed, staring at the floor. "How would you rather I compliment you then?" He told himself that he was only asking this to PRETEND to be nice because there was no way in hell that he actually wanted to be nice, right? Right.

“Well, what you said was mostly fine. Usually it’s nicer to leave out things that make it seem like you don’t really mean it. Those being what I said earlier, haha…”
