cloudedblades:
A cyborg, huh? Well, that was better than any number of things that might’ve been inferred. Not that Cloud had any idea what those things might’ve been, but he knew potential innuendo when he heard it. Glad to have that cleared up right away.
Ah, but now he had to actually participate in the conversation. A bit more, at least. Cloud supposed it wouldn’t hurt to share a few things about his own weaponry. It was almost too bad he didn’t have anything on hand at the moment, though.
“Nothing like a sword-scythe-gun, I’m afraid,” he told the man. Come to think of it, he’d though a bit about adding a gun to his swords before. He barely remembered that, from his last trip here to Hive City. Sometimes it seemed like those missing two years - the ones that had seemed like only a couple of weeks to him - were getting further and further away. “I have six swords that combine together. Good for dual-wielding. Makes them heavy enough to crush, as well as cut and stab.”
“I would say six swords that become one sword is an equally complicated and interesting mechanism.” Qrow said as he pulled out the notebook he used to draw out the first diagram of his scythe and grabbed the pencil he had left tucked behind his ear, or rather that he had forgotten he had until this exact moment.
“I imagine it works like, kapow, and then snikt! Then when the mechanism go together it’s like, click!” At this point it was impossible to tell if Qrow was genuinely attempting to speak with Cloud, or just messing with him again. Despite all of the non technical jargon he used, when he turned his pad around the sketch he had drawn up was rather detailed.
“Just one more question, do you have anything like dust in your world... Oh wait you might not know what that is. Dust is like, it’s what makes the magic happen, like literally. You can’t use magic on your own, but when yo have it your capabilities become much greater. You can suddenly perform feats like magic.”
