“Get out of here old man.”
“Came here to scope out places to do comedy! I’m a manzai comedian” he chuckled lightly, moving his hand down to instead mess with the bottom of his scarf.
“What do you do here? Or like- could you help me find somewhere to perform?”
He tilts his head slightly, he really likes to accent, maybe he could incorporate it in an act, but he wouldn’t want to look like he was mocking it... maybe he could ask Platinum, she was good at those kind of things.
“Or lead me to some books on the uh- regional forms? That’s what me and my partner are working on right now”
Pearl brightened up quite a bit, and clapped his hands together “Awesome- Okay, we can go anywhere you want- I can call a charizard.. You know about ride pokemon right? They’re really cool- i’ve spent a lot of time in Alola”
A little chuckle, Pearl has defaulted straight back to his talkative self now that he has the chance, he’s excited to hang out with her.
And really he’d be happy to do anything that kept that smile on her face, or show her anything, he loved seeing his friends happy, one of the reasons he did manzai afterall! But that wasn’t important.
He’s taking out a little device and holding it out to her “It like, teleports pokemon to you. Tauros, lapras, charizard, you name it, it’s awesome.”

To tell the truth, Hop isn’t entirely sure who this person is, or why he’s hugging him… but that’s completely alright!
Hop loves hugs, especially when he’s in a good mood!
There have been so many interesting folks visiting Galar since the most recent Gym Challenge season passed… as a professor in training, Hop ought to meet them all anyway!
Pearl pulled away after a minute, he couldn’t help it!! He’s just really excited to be in Galar. He’s supposed to be checking it out and seeing why there were barely any Sinnoh pokemon- but he couldn’t help but go meet some people!!
“Sorry about that- I’m Pearl! From Sinnoh!” He held out a hand instead, slightly rocking back and forth on his feet, it was always fun to meet new people, and a quick glance over Hop could easily tell him that the boy was a sweet person.
It was nice how quickly you could analyze someone with the right signs.

Platinum had been thinking a lot about how much had happened since the group of them had had their adventures… But there had been something moving around through her head ever since she’d gone back to her normal life, working mostly in labs where she felt she belonged. She had always wanted to thank Diamond and Pearl for everything they’d done for her. After all, she hadn’t just been escorted like the plan was, but she’d learned so much along the way. About Pokemon, about battling, and even about herself.
So, she’d been on the hunt for something that could materially say it. Although her skills with her own feelings had improved, there was still the idea of adding something else. She wanted whatever she said and gave to have value together. And after everything, she had finally found something that she thought was perfect for the occasion.
After finally finding the blonde boy again, she went up to him with a bit of pep in her step. She really did think that what she’d planned out was almost perfect. So now, for the delivery. “Uh, hello Pearl… I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, since our journey’s already over and… I want to give you a token of my appreciation-” she said, handing over the box holding his gift, which was another scarf she’d picked up herself. Though, at the bottom, it was woven in with a gem she’d found on Mt. Coronet, considering that was the basis of their meeting in itself.
Pearl stared at Platinum when she came walking up to him. He’d immediately jumped up and ran to meet her halfway, nearly crashing into her. He was just- excited to see her is all.
He looked at the box, and decided- smartly- to wait until she’d shown him what was inside. But getting handed it, he opened it quickly, he didn’t know what to say to the whole ‘token of appreciation’ thing.
But staring at the scarf, he smiled a tiny bit, giving a little laugh and looking up at Platinum.
He put it on, tucking his old scarf into the box and putting it in his bag, before staring at his friend.
“Missy, you didn’t have to get me anything! Really- just travelling with you and being your friend was enough for me”
A smile, and he’s messing with the little gem at the end subconsciously, he was really glad to see Platinum again, maybe they could go out and do something together, make the most of the time. He’d been a bit lonely after the journey ended.
The three of them were inseparable, and he knew it. Having them be apart for long periods of time was almost unheard of.
“Do you, maybe want to hang out though? You came all this way...”

Pascal had been resting for a moment, mostly because of his own Pokemon finding themselves in rough condition all the same. Thankfully, he had enough supplies to work with around here, since he had planned to get into a lot of battles, and found himself picking up any type of healing item that he could find on the ground.
But at any rate, he was working hard on this where he could, to which he was almost ready to get back to battling. He didn’t want to put his Pokemon under that much pressure already, but what else could he do? The future of the world was at stake, and even if there were others working on it, every single bit counted. He couldn’t be out of the game for too long, although he was ready to help others if they came out with it. If he could be out helping someone else too, then maybe that could quell his own urges to fight.
Pearl had been taking a rest too, helping his Chatot work out the mud from between it’s feathers, Perahiko couldn’t very well fight if he couldn’t fly, and that wouldn’t be a good mixture at all. His Infernape was walking around near him, scoping out the area.
It didn’t take long for Chimhiko to notice Pascal.
He stared at him, and the Infernape simply seemed to smile, pointing over at Pearl to show that there was an ally nearby. Pearl glanced up at hearing his starter make a sound, picking up his Chatot quickly, ready to make a run for it.
But seeing that Chimhiko was calm, he relaxed.
“...How are you?” He looked at Pascal, finally noticing him, he’d been focused.

SO YOU JUST OPENED UP TUMBLR and what’s the first thing you see? something about ultra beasts and macro cosmos? wow, that sure sounds cool, but i’m not sure how to interact! well, no worries — here’s the rundown!
SEVERAL MYSTERIOUS STRANGERS HAVE APPEARED IN ALOLA, CLAIMING TO SPEAK FOR MACROS COSMOS! ( but are they really? we don’t quite know yet. ) they have mentioned something about taking over the region’s resources and beg the people not to show resistance.
MEANWHILE, SOMEONE ONLY KNOWN AS ❝ DIONNE ❞ HAS SUDDENLY UNLEASHED HUNDREDS OF ULTRA BEASTS UPON AN UNSUSPECTING ALOLA! they appear to be in cahoots with this mysterious macros cosmos, but why? what do they want and why are they doing this? are they the one running this chaotic song and dance, or are they simply yet another pawn in a chess game much bigger than anyone knows? it’s difficult to tell.
SO HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE? pack your bags, head to alola and fight some ultra beasts, for starters! or just point at the news and watch the fireworks. use the tag ❝ [plot: brightest day] ❞ on all of your posts relating to the event! we also have a google doc for you to add your muse to — tell us all where they stand and what they’re doing to help, if anything! there’s also a second google doc ( currently a wip ) tracking the plot relevant posts to help keep everyone updated.
