I’M FINALLY MAKING PEACHYVILLE KEYCHAINS
I’m still setting things up with being able to sell these with an online store, I think I’ll be able to in around a week.
i never posted these on Tumblr.. doodles from last month. finals killed my grandma
Drawings of gang because Im thinking about them <3
The Peachyville finale broke my heart, but I could not tell you with conviction in my voice that it didn't stick its landing. Rip Blake but his death was well-timed and his absence from the final act works in favor of its overall tone. Those last few scenes feel like a return to form for the Gutteral Screams (barring Tony), and I don't think you could realistically have asked for more thematically suitable completions to the original party's arcs.
Francis choses not only to live but to put himself first in deciding what future to pursue even if it's not the "brave" or "noble" decision, in addition to- I would argue- finding a positive parental figure in Trudy in particular. Trudy on her end refuses to let guilt anchor her down to a world she'll never be safe or happy in, chasing a better life like the first Trudy had tried to do, but with the crucial difference that her circumstances have bestowed her with the power to make sure that Timmy is a part of that life too, an opportunity she seizes without hesitating as she walks out into the great unknown.
And Kelsey is who I for the life of me cannot stop thinking about. Her decision to stay behind with BB and Milton is gut wrenching in some capacities of course, but the only choice that would have felt right with who Kelsey is as a person. I mean this both in the simple sense that she has the heart of a lion (or like, a good teacher you don't forget) and would never have left two 13 year olds alone to fend for themselves in the face of kingdom come, but also that Kelsey follows through on her values and does exactly what her brother proved incapable of; she doesn't abandon her family, no matter the cost, and this concludes she and Milton's arc surprisingly sweetly, in spite of it all. From our limited breadth of knowledge, her end is no doubt the sadest, and I truly cannot stop thinking back to that earlier scene where she fell into momentary madness and experienced a timeline much like this one... And yet the decision to leave the true apocalypse unsaid and open leaves enough room for the heart to wander, to cling on to the tiniest bit of hope and imagine possibilities of a future that lies beyond despair.
That's how I feel, at least. Well played, Mr. Campos.
What if I speak my truth about season 3?
relistening to peachyville and hoping the die rolls differently like it's orpheus and eurydice
So I started peachyville again
Yes I drew Kelsey AGAIN but can you blame me when she says absolute bangers like this
