I’ve said this before and I’ll point it out again -
Menstruation is caused by change in hormonal levels to stop the creation of a uterine lining and encourage the body to flush the lining out. The body does this by lowering estrogen levels and raising testosterone.
Or, to put it more plainly “That time of the month” is when female hormones most closely resemble male hormones. So if (cis) women aren’t suited to office at “That time of the month” then (cis) men are NEVER suited to office.
If you are a dude and don’t dig the ladies around you at their time of the month, just think! That is you all of the time.
And, on a final note, post-menopausal (cis) women are the most hormonally stable of all human demographics. They have fewer hormonal fluctuations of anyone, meaning older women like Hilary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren would theoretically be among the least likely candidates to make an irrational decision due to hormonal fluctuations, and if we were basing our leadership decisions on hormone levels, then only women over fifty should ever be allowed to hold office.
Reblogging hard for that last comment.
I WANTED TO SAY THIS BUT THEN SOMEONE ELSE DID and I’m damn proud.

Hawkeye vs. Deadpool #0
I really appreciated all the little nods to Clint’s deafness in this issue. I’m glad other writers are acknowledging it and it’s not just a temporary thing in Fraction’s run. I also enjoy the fact that Wade apparently knows sign language.
Also deadpool has his mask up to expose his lips so Hawkeye can read his lips so he doesn’t have to sign everything
I love Deadpool so much, you guys. Love love him. Every time I find out something new about Deadpool, I love him more, because it’s always shit like this.
Deadpool is lovely.
person: why are you staying up so late when you know you have to be up early the next morning?

this is by far the funniest vine i have ever seen
Yeeee-haw! A flying frog looks like a rodeo rider as it effortlessly climbs onto a the back of a woodboring beetle. The photo was taken by wildlife specialist Hendy Mp in Sambas, Indonesia
Picture: Hendy MP/Solent News & Photo Agency
I stopped posting photos like these at AllCreatures quite a while ago. A friend alerted me to this article that was highlighted by Ed Yong in his blog at NatGeo Phenomena. These photos are a cottage industry in Asia, specifically in Indonesia. In short, these photos are staged which employ the use of strings, etc. to pose these animals (and are later photoshopped out). These posings may cause injury to these animals and the photographers are misleading people who buy their photographs into thinking this was just a lucky photograph taken with much perseverance (it seems to be the same handful of photographers who seem to capture these ‘lucky’ shots). In short, these photographers are not “wildlife specialists” as the caption above would make you believe. These photos are unethical and cruel to these animals.
:( I am disappoint
This kind of stuff can also get you banned from shooting for any self-respecting news outlet. Images that have been altered or staged are not accurate representations of reality and so are basically lying to the viewer. It’s the graphic version of a Gross Factual Error. Of course you can alter/stage things for “photo illustrations.”
But even if identified as such, as mentioned by allcreatures, the real issue here is that the photographers don’t seem to have any regard for the welfare of these animals that they spontaneously buy from pet stores or manipulate from nature.
