Soy Frankelda. I am Frankelda. An amazing Mexican movie. I highly recommend it if you like Tim Burton films movie styles and also movies like Coraline, Paranorman, The Boxtrolls since they're all stop motion movies. It is stop motion animation fantasy and horror with a little romance and a musical. The songs are so whimsical and deep, and the singers are very talented. The whole movie is a gem. The visuals are top notch. You should see it more than once. So much love was poured into making this masterpiece and you can tell by so many details and the deeper meaning of the story. The songs were so deep and original. Frankelda was amazing and very relatable protagonist and I was so invested in her character and story.

It's kind of impressive that Tumblr still has the same broad atmosphere as always after all this time, but I do miss when it was more populated because there's really no other online space that feels so full of weird, fun, creative women just posting straight from the gut. Instagram is woman-heavy but it feels like posting is everyone's job there. Bluesky is more of a news feed for guys workshopping their current events tight five. Something wild and free about this place.
