"You want to go camping?" the Doctor asked, "Like, in a tent? I suppose that sounds like the perfect summer activity. Yes, we can do that." The Doctor always took Wanda's suggestions seriously and it did sound like it could be fun, so the Doctor walked over to the TARDIS console and began to program coordinates. "I found a good campsite," he told her and then pulled the last lever for the TARDIS to take off, landing just moments later.
“Camping would be fun, I did it once as a kid. Would be nice to do it again. Where’s this campsite?” Wanda asked as they set off for it. “I brought some food, camping gear and a tent unless you want to use the TARDIS. Have you ever been camping?” She knew he was hundreds of years old m surely he camped at some point.
"It's a camp site on Earth," he told her, "Somewhere in the midwest of the United States. We can use your camping gear and tent, yes. It's been a while since I've been camping like that, but I have done it before of course." The Doctor lead the way into a small campsite in the middle of a forest. There was a small lake near by with a small beach attached and a lots of trees on the other side.
It was a lovely site, perfect for a nice trip. “You picked a good place for this.” She smiled, kissing his cheek. “we should stay inland and not too close to the lake. So we won’t get wet if it rains or there’s waves.” She suggested, humming as she started to get set up.
"Of course," he told her, "But we do still want it to be walking distance so we can go check out the beach or walk along the lake if we want to."
“That’s a good idea, the weather is perfect for a walk. How about we do that once we get set up here?” She offered as she got out the tent. She could do it with magic, but she wanted to try the normal way first.
"Good plan," he told her, "How can I help?"
“Can you help me set the tent up?”
