{ Ari loves hot food, as in temperature--especially hot drinks!! So many years of eating raw food which may or may not be garbage, hot/cooked food normally has flavor. When he isnt hungry, he can be found savoring his meals, in particular cups of tea or coffee. The Guild has figured out that offering him hot biscuits or tea regularly keeps him from trying to sneak away and steal food.

The easiest way to make friends with him is to offer him a hot cup of tea or coffee. If he is comfortable--enough--with you, you can find him cuddling, wrapped near completely, around his cup. It’s taken him quite a bit of time to learn how to drink from a cup with his kobold lips, so he regularly will lap it up with his tongue. It’s only when he’s on assignment that he will struggle through drinking in in the socially acceptable way. )

15. What is their biggest fear? What in general scares them? How do they act when they’re scared?

Believe it or not, Ari hates fire. Regardless of his ability to control it, breathe it, be it, he’s haunted by how he received his blessings. Not even studying how fire works as magic helps, and he tends to stay far away from campfires and fireplaces.

A lot scares him. He tends to run from things that scare him, but if he’s cornered, he’ll fight tooth and nail like an animal.

30. What makes them feel safe or secure? What makes them feel insecure or unsafe?

Being alone is a safe bet to make him feel secure. If he knows, or thinks, he’s alone in a location he already knows or deems as safe, he’ll relax as he will feel like he has no dangers to worry about.

Oddly enough, being in light company terrifies him. His fear is that one individual will be hostile, and the others will either enable or aid the attacker, or that all will be outright hostile and he will be outmatched. In a large crowd, there is a higher chance of being able to get lost in the swathe of people, or a bystander to be helpful.
