promised myself i wouldnt name myself mikey (cause i had a habit of taking my fav’s name (cough, the time i went by jon and scar for a while)), but one of the ppl i met in a server recognized my mikey pfp and js started calling me mikey. And i really, really liked being called mikey… Most ppl still call me aiden but there were apparently some others in the server who only know me by mikey and not aiden

Kinda sucks as well though that i’ll only be known as mikey inside the server, and not anywhere else

Also this rise of tumblr users determined to call all gofundme’s a scam over the smallest details is so telling of the average person’s ability to have empathy and understand the lengths a person will go to to help their family survive. Yes, Gazans are making multiple accounts, they are sending asks relentlessly, they are copying templates/formats text posts from each other, they are giving extreme and explicit details of their suffering, they are using google translate to try to reach as many people as possible, but wouldn’t you do the same if it was your family you needed for raise money for survival for? How can you not understand where they’re coming from before jumping to calling them scammers?

Tried my hand at redesigning Lucy from Fairy Tail! Notes and separate images under the cut.

I wanted to give her a little more “working towards casual” vibes, because I wish it was explored a little more how being raised rich affected her behavior - or rather, how she *doesn’t* act. I HC she spent the time pre-Natsu but post running away kinda training herself to not default to rich, polite heiress. There was a lot of people watching involved. She may or may not have a notebook titled “How to people”. When she’s really tired or stressed, she’ll fall back on talking formally, though she usually catches herself fairly quickly by the time Natsu bulldozes his way into her life. She prefers talking casually, but the formal speech comes in useful when dealing with particularly picky rich clients (or royalty).

(On a completely unrelated note if anyone has fics along this vein send them my way)

Anyways I like to think my version has a very close, familial relationship with all her spirits. She’ll call one out most days, even just to hang and talk for a while. It very conveniently doubles as stamina training for her - not that she actually needs the excuse, but if she does happen to need one that’s her go-to. They are all very protective of her, especially Aquarius, who despite how it seems cares very much for Lucy and basically helped raise her after Layla passed. Lucy appreciated how Aquarius treats her like literally anyone, and Aquarius is her go to for life advice; Aquarius herself has a habit of accosting the other spirits as they come back for status updates.

Im not that interested in fairy tail, i used to be, but i decided to pick up the 100 yq recently and i just keep thinking of a natsu (and other dragon slayers) design where he has dragon characteristics. Like 1st gen would have the most resemblance, a lot of scales, horns, tails, and possibly wings that they’re only able to use in human form when they get super super strong (or when they’re in elentear). Then like specifically 2nd gen and 4th gen get lesser dragon characteristics, smaller tails, fewer scales. And 5th gen characteristics start like 2nd and 4th, but as they consume more dragons they get more resemblance
