Sam & Kelly I don't know why it's me. And I don't know why it's you. But I know that we are destined for something here. Something great.
bonus:
So true. And I'll reiterate what I said the first time I reblogged this three years ago: When Castiel says: "This is a world where you were never born. It's a world you never saved," he does not look at Dean. He doesn't say "a world where you two were never born". He's specifically speaking to Sam, and excluding Dean. Oh, I'm not saying that Dean wasn't a crucial part of averting the apocalypse, because he definitely was. Without him, Sam couldn't have wrested control of his body away from Lucifer. But this isn't about what actually happened. This is about Castiel's opinion of what happened. It seems that, for him, what Sam did was so much more important than what Dean did that he doesn't even bother to include him. Which is, imo, true. Sam was willing to condemn himself to an eternity of torture to save the world. And, while he was eventually saved, he still suffered at least 180 years of torture(though I've argued in the past that the time was actually more in the order of 1000+ years for reasons I'm too tired to get into). The point is, Castiel saw Sam. He saw his sacrifice, and placed great value upon it.
And also Dean broke the first seal by selling his soul so. You know. I don't think Castiel really felt like his contribution to averting the apocalypse was anything other than cleaning up his own mess.
