ellis and jay. sorry i'm frombrained since i'm rewatching and i have vague ideas for a jay fromverse (which i have probably mentioned to you but already forgot smh) but they would definitely be drawn to colony house. more ideas forthcoming at some point

it may not have bleeders or aliens but the ea/rth abides miniseries is such good insp for this blog. the overall hopeful vibe of it + the deep and unending love the characters have for one another is THE vision i have for weston-rhodes, at least. it's not exactly utopian and there's heavy themes but it's presented in a way that isn't doom and gloom. life after the end is HARD but it's also not The End. you can still have love (in all its forms). there is life. you can persevere. you don't have to be alone. and it's so beautiful to me

i don't know if it's the autism or anxiety or just as simple as This Is How My Brain Works but i absolutely struggle with going into writing with no plotting. this is true for all of my characters but i feel it even more with this blog. i feel pretty confident that anyone who follows me like... is okay with writing in my canon sjsbsudhdj but i always need to make sure. just in case. but even then i still need direction because i hate making assumptions :/ all this to say. if you want to write with me on this blog pls just give me a reply or like or something and i will reach out to discuss basics at least

"have you always been so cynical?" it comes out maybe a little too harsh, no matter the attempt jordan makes to soften it with a smile. she glances to janet, abandoning the people-watching that they'd fallen into, weaving stories about the other citizens of the campus... a difficult endeavor in close quarters, when you know everyone; it limits the imagination. but jordan had been trying, at least, and she feels a flush of agitation that janet seems uninterested in playing the game. "you don't think they're really into each other?" eyes flicker to the couple nuzzling into one another's faces, a display of affection that feels too intimate, and—to her—too embarrassing to commit in public if not sincere. "they seem pretty happy," jordan continues to argue, feeling somewhat defensive, though she can't pinpoint why.

adrian is terrified of dogs; "will start having a panic attack when he hears a dog barking" type fear. he doesn't like being around them at all; he doesn't care how many times he's assured that they're a "good dog".

"well, it's not every day a bona fide celebrity moves in," adrian replies with a smirk, glancing playfully up at quinn. he's intent on teasing a little more, then offering comfort, or support, or whatever the hell he can, because it's a transition jarring enough for anyone, let alone someone like her, going from life out there to in here... but he's good at reading people: he can see the hurt in her eyes.

admittedly, he never paid much attention to the news out of kettle springs, nor everything that came from it. he only even recalls the name of the town because he's heard the whispers about it, seen the way people gawk, and her face had jogged something deep in his memory. pursing his mouth, expression softening immediately, the amusement draining from his eyes, adrian cautiously extends a hand and rests it on her arm—light and unobtrusive. supportive, but easily dismissed; he's good at reading people, but good isn't perfect, and he's not quite sure what, exactly, will make her feel comforted. but he hopes he can help in some way, hopes he can show her that this place isn't all bad. "hey," he says softly. "obviously i can't relate," adrian admits dryly, the faintest twitch of a smile at the edges of his lips, "but people here really don't care about who you were before. it's just... things get monotonous, y'know? sometimes people need somethin' to gossip about every now and then. it'll blow over." the slightest pause occurs, but then adrian's smoothing past it, conveying a confidence he's not entirely certain is genuine as he swears: "i promise."

need a plot with adrian where he's out Doing His Thing but breaks his leg. someone from another community finds him, takes him to their community, and he has to recoup there since he obviously can't travel back to WR in his state. learning to be in a new place. being on guard because he doesn't know anyone and he's not used to not being able to leave. lots of fear and anger at first but steadily finding that he's making friends

apocalypse fake dating... pretending to be a couple for a bigger room. meeting out in the wasteland and coming across a community and thinking maybe you'll have a better chance of being accepted in by presenting yourselves as romantic partners. fake dating arrangement just so you don't feel so alone but you don't actually want to try and have a relationship because What If Something Bad Happens (but falling in love anyway). the possibilities are endless

grim and quinn. i actually don't have any ideas of how they could interact and she'd probably be annoyed with them but i want them to have friends. i'm forcing quinn to be their friend

adrian and quinn, also. yes i'm trying to stop defaulting to jay/adrian for everything but... the vision... she can have another hypercompetent gay best friend. as a treat

micah and literally anyone because what if i said his family is from kettle springs? he is a farm kid he'd fit right in. i think he would reasonably be able to exist at least in the periphery of cole's friend group. he would love tucker. maybe he drags tucker with him when he goes to tour the college and tucks gets stuck with him there in the apocalypse

adrian with literally any of your t100 characters. i want to develop his t100 verse tbh, but of course anyone could easily fit into my universe as well. adrian training harper and/or miller to do runs with him..... be warned he is so annoying though

jay has a very detailed wb verse and i would love for them to interact with percy

grim and fatima... i need to learn how to Not just default to adrian and jay and grim is new and i want to get stuff going with them but also i do think they'd get along with her so well. let her teach them how to grow weed. they would love it
