“Allosaurus Ambush” - a short comic I’ve recently made which serves as a follow-up to my Camarasaurus animation…https://youtu.be/YNx3WStGYR8?is=NvGHG5ByGLLieZsw
…and centers on a lone Allosaurus fragilis hunting a juvenile Camarasaurus without the adults knowing it…
BTW this is probably the first ever dinosaur-themed comic I’ve ever made, centered upon my second-favorite dinosaur Allosaurus, and will soon serve as the basis for an animatic sequence for my upcoming animated short film!
The Land of Untold Stories. Graveyard.
(Aramis and Porthos stand among several mourners at Athos’ graveside whilst the priest gives a eulogy.)
Priest: “Today... we bury a lost comrade and brother. Athos... was a loyal friend and a fine warrior.”
Porthos: “Great. He was a great warrior.”
Priest: (Bows his head and continues:) “A great warrior...”
Aramis: “And a brilliant swordsman.”
Priest: (Takes a breath:) “A great warrior and a brilliant swordsman.”
Porthos: “He'd like that.” (He looks to Aramis who nods.)
Priest: “His death is a tragic waste.”
Aramis: “He was considered handsome.”
Priest: (Beginning to be frustrated:) “Ah...”
Porthos: “He was more rugged, I'd say, but, you know...”
Aramis: “Well, I suppose it's in the eye of the beholder.”
Priest: (Giving a forced smile:) “May I continue? (Both Aramis and Porthos nod:) His death... is a tragic waste.”
Porthos: (Quieter, to Aramis:) “Was a funeral strictly necessary?”
Aramis: “Milady might be watching. We had to make it convincing.”
Porthos: “It's very emotional.”
Aramis: (Pats his friend on the shoulder:) “There, there. He's not actually dead.”
Porthos: “Still, it's the thought that, you know...”
Purgatory.
(Leaving the caves behind, the group of six travel two by two through the forest together on their way to less gloomier surroundings. Heading up the group, Mr Smee leads the way with a very apologetic Henry.)
Henry: “You have to believe me, if I knew for one moment what we were eating… it made me sick to my stomach. (At Smee’s look:) Uh, not that what I did eat tasted bad, in fact it was quite the opposite… I mean…”
Smee: (Chuckles, clapping Henry on the back:) “It’s okay, Henry, I understand. I lived a long and mostly happy life. Sailing the seven seas, engaging in all kinds of piracy and debauchery. And, when the end came, it was surprisingly quick and painless. Overall, I have no complaints.”
Henry: (Nods, relieved:) “I’m glad. I’ll be happy to relay that to Hook the next time I see him. Should we ever get out of here, of course.”
Smee: “Well there’s no reason your stay in Purgatory must be a miserable one. Trust me, once you see where we’re headed, you may just change your mind about this place, I know I did.”
(Behind them, the pairing of Neal and Regina walk in awkward silence along the forest path.)
Regina: “So, about what happened back in the caves, I want you to know it wasn’t personal.”
Neal: (With a smile:) “Oh, come on, it was a little personal after you realised who I was, admit it. (Noticing the flicker of a smile cross her lips:) I’ll take that as a yes.”
Regina: “Back when I died at Circe’s hands, I remember being grabbed by a bear of a man with an unfortunate haircut. He began dragging me away and then something happened and… I thought I caught a glimpse of you whilst I was down here the first time.”
Neal: “Ah, so you did see me. Well, I managed to distract that guy and his friends long enough for you to escape and by the time he came back for you, you’d already returned to the land of the living. You’re welcome, by the way.”
Regina: (As Neal chuckles:) “Look, Neal, I know this is difficult for all of us but-”
Neal: “Why should it be difficult? Come on, we’re all family here. You, me, Henry, Emma. We’re all connected now, forever.”
Regina: “So you don’t have a problem with Emma and me?”

Chapter 35
Well, that's it. The end of another story and perhaps the saga as a whole. I say perhaps as I only really intented to write the first fic originally and now look where we are!
Here on the 8th anniversary since the show ended, after 8 stories, and with everyone finally finding their happy endings, I feel the saga has come to it's natural conclusion.
Thanks to those who have commented on each story over on AO3 and to those of you who have reached out to me here on tumblr.
I'm pleased to have shared this journey with you and hope it has helped bring some closure to not only the Once Upon a Time fandom but to all the other shows featured within the saga.
Finally I must thank my number one fan, collaborator and wife, without whom I would've never been able to persevere with this engrossing series.
The Land of Untold Stories. Milady’s Apartment.
(Standing at her window, Milady stares out at the street below, a hand raised to the choker around her neck.)
Milady: “I thought I would feel something more than this... this emptiness. I loved him once. (She turns to face D’Artagnan who stands across the room:) Are you sorry you killed him?”
D'Artagnan: “Regrets are pointless. It's help I need now. Aramis and Porthos will never forgive this. They'll want revenge.”
Milady: “I thought you were like Athos. But I was wrong. (She moves away from the window towards him:) He had greatness in him. He would not be frightened.”
D’Artagnan: “I'm not frightened. Just practical. There's only one man who can help me stay alive and I need to see him now.”
(Closing the distance between them, Milady rises onto her tiptoes and kisses D’Artagnan.)
Milady: (Pulling away:) “There's someone else, isn't there?”
D'Artagnan: “I have just killed a man. It tends to dampen the mood.”
Milady: “Not in my experience. You're in love with your landlady.”
D'Artagnan: “Constance means nothing to me.”
Milady: “I see. Well, perhaps you're not Athos... but, with the Cardinal's help, I can still make something of you. He'll be expecting us by now.”
Purgatory.
(With Regina now bound against a tree, Emma paces before her anxiously.)
Regina: “There’s such a nervous energy about you. (Smiles:) Is it because you don’t know how to use that sword? I could teach you, if you’d like.”
Emma: (Stops pacing and points the sword at Regina:) “I know perfectly well how to use a sword, and don’t for one minute think you make me nervous.”
Regina: “My mistake.”
Emma: “If you must know, I’m torn between leaving you here unguarded and going to find my friend.”
Regina: “Your friend?”
(As if on cue, there is a rustling in the trees followed by the appearance of Smee whose hands are bound in front of him.)
Emma: (Pointing her sword at him:) “Who are you?”
Regina: “He’s my friend. (To Smee:) I told you not to follow me.”
Smee: “I was not given much choice Your… (Regina shoots him a look, warning him not to address her by her title:) Uh…You were right. Is what I meant to say.”
(Smee is then shoved from behind as another woman enters the camp.)
Ingrid: “Go take a seat over there by the fire and be quiet until we figure out what to do with you.”
Smee: “Whatever you say, Ma’am.”
(Smee hurries over to the fire and takes a seat, sparing a glance towards Regina before staring into the campfire.)
Ingrid: (To Emma:) “Thanks for all your help getting him here.”
Emma: “Hey, I was guarding her!”
Regina: “It’s true, she was quite torn up about it too.”
Emma: “Oh shut up. (She catches Ingrid watching them with a smile on her face:) What?”
Ingrid: (Shakes her head, covering:) “Nothing. (Changing the subject:) Did you fetch the drinking water like I asked?”
Emma: “I… I had to use it to… (Sheepishly:) To put out a fire.”
Ingrid: “I see. Well, we can’t do much without fresh water so do you want me to get some or-”
Emma: “No, I’ll get it. I just… what about them?”
Ingrid: “Don’t worry about it, I’ve got them covered.”
(Emma nods then heads back out of the camp, Regina’s gaze following her as she leaves.)
Regina: (Sees Ingrid watching her:) “What?”
Ingrid: “Oh, nothing.”
(Ingrid walks over to the campfire to warm herself and to share a covert smile with Smee.)
Elsewhere in Purgatory.
(Working out the words written on the stone, Henry mutters them to himself a couple of times before he is confident enough to recite them aloud. After doing so, he calls out the names of the people he wishes to speak to most.)
Henry: “Regina & Emma Swan-Mills. (There is a long pause where nothing happens:) Come on, work damn you. (He frowns then repeats the incantation and calls out another name:) Ichabod Crane.”

Chapter 34
The Land of Untold Stories. Musketeer Headquarters.
(D’Artagnan strides through the courtyard and is met by Porthos and Aramis.)
Porthos: “Well, well, well! Where’ve you been?”
D’Artagnan: “In bed, injured.”
Aramis: “You weren't alone, I think. How is Madame de la Chapelle? Or is it Milady de Winter? Ah, I lose track.”
D'Artagnan: “She was well, last time I saw her, no thanks to her loving husband.”
Athos: (Joining them:) “I see you've risen from the grave.”
D'Artagnan: “You failed to kill me, if that's what you're referring to.”
Aramis: “What are you doing here?”
D'Artagnan: “I am still a Musketeer, despite what Athos may wish.”
Porthos: “I think we'll settle this in private.”
(D’Artagnan and Athos both nod their agreement and follow Porthos and Aramis inside.)
Purgatory. Docks.
(Regina stands alone in a harbour staring out across the ocean towards an island in the distance. Breaking away from his friends, a bearded man walks over to her.)
Smee: “Your Majesty?”
Regina: (Turns to the man:) “I know you, don’t I?”
Smee: (Smiles:) “William Smee, at your service.”
Regina: (Nods:) “I almost didn’t recognise you without your hat.”
Smee: (Chuckles:) “I get that a lot. Unfortunately, it didn’t make the journey with me.”
Regina: (Confused:) “Journey?”
Smee: “Ah… I mean I’ve misplaced my hat, Your Majesty.”
Regina: “I see. Well, I seem to remember you being a sea-faring man, Mr Smee. (Pointing:) I need you to take me to that island.”
Smee: “Oh, well I certainly could do that, but I’m afraid I currently don’t have a crew so-”
Regina: “A crew? It’s not that far, surely you could take me across yourself?”
Smee: “If I had a vessel then perhaps I-”
(Regina waves her hand and conjures a small rowing boat in the water.)
Regina: “Will that suffice, Mr Smee?”
Smee: (Smiles:) “Yes, I believe it would. When were you thinking of leaving?”
Regina: “Immediately.”
Smee: (Bows his head:) “Of course.”
Regina: “Aren’t you forgetting something?”
Smee: “Forgetting something, Your Majesty?”
(Regina waves her hand again and a red knitted hat appears out of thin air.)
Regina: “Every Captain needs a hat.”
Smee: (Smiles:) “Thank you, Your Highness.”
Regina: “Lead the way, Mr Smee. I want to reach the island before nightfall.”
Addams Family Mansion.
(Pugsley and Wednesday are duelling with swords at the foot of the large staircase.)
Wednesday: “O villain, villain, smiling, damned villain.”
Pugsley: “Who calls me a villain, breaks my pate across, cuts off my beard, and blows it in my face?”
Wednesday: “If I must strike you dead, I will.”
(Wednesday attempts an overhead strike but is caught by Pugsley’s blade to her midsection. Wednesday proceeds to perform a dramatic death scene before collapsing back upon the stairs.)
Fester: (Having watched this from the top of the stairs:) “No. (He rushes downstairs to join them:) No, no, no, no, no, no. (To Pugsley:) Give me that sword. Haven't you ever slaughtered anyone?”
Wednesday: (Raising her head:) “He's only a child.”
Fester: (Shakes his head:) “No excuse. (Taking Pugsley’s hand, he pulls him closer:) Aim for a major artery. The jugular.”
(Also watching from the top of the stairs are Anastasia and Drizella. Observing the smile upon her sister’s face, Anastasia pulls her back into a dark alcove.)
Anastasia: “That’s your fiancé? Him? Really?”
Drizella: “He’s perfect.”
Anastasia: “Oh now really, Drizzy. I know you’ve always held the ambition of marrying rich but after running your own successful business, I thought you were past that by now.”
Drizella: (Scoffs:) “You think Belfrey’s can possibly earn me the kind of money Fester has?”
Anastasia: “But I’ve seen you, Drizzy, you love your job.”
Drizella: “Oh I enjoy being the boss, that’s always been true. And it will continue to be the case when Fester and I marry. The man is besotted with me and will do anything to make me happy.”
Anastasia: “And that’s why he’s perfect?”
Drizella: “Don’t give me that look, Ana, not everyone can marry the woman of her dreams and have a whole clan of warriors willing to kill at their command. Sometimes you must be practical.”
Anastasia: “But don’t you want to marry for love at least?”
Drizella: (Considers:) “Love would be nice, of course. And who knows, one day I may find the man of my dreams after I’ve drained Fester of his usefulness. But for now, I’m choosing the money.”
(Their conversation is cut short by the sound of an explosion outside. Hurrying towards a window, the sisters peer down to see Fester and the children playing, having just blown a huge crater into the driveway.)
Fester: “Three parts dynamite with a nitro-glycerine cap. It's perfect for small holes, carports, and tool sheds.”
(Whilst Fester and the children run off to find more mischief to make, Drizella grins down at them, leaving Anastasia with a bemused expression upon her face.)
Storybrooke. Forest.
(Jolted awake by the rumble of a distant explosion, Ichabod finds himself still restrained within the plain pine box the Cardinal trapped him inside. Reaching awkwardly into his pocket, Ichabod pulls out his phone to illuminate his wooden tomb. Seeing the boards above his head, he punches them causing dirt to fall into the box. Spitting out as much as he can, Ichabod’s expression changes when he recognises something in the soil.)
Ichabod: “Sulphur.”
Storybrooke. Forest. Horseman’s Hideaway.
(After being taken captive by the Headless Horseman, Katrina finds herself bound to chair inside a derelict building which bears the hallmarks of once being a carriage house. Whilst struggling with her bonds, Katrina’s efforts are interrupted by the return of the Horseman who stalks toward her.)
Katrina: “I am not afraid of you.”
(The Horseman walks around to stand behind Katrina before drawing his dagger. Bracing herself for the worst, Katrina exhales sharply when the Horseman cuts her hands free. Moving around to face her once more, the Horseman drives the dagger into the table between them before revealing a loaf of bread wrapped in a white cloth. Placing his hands on the table, the Horseman stands over Katrina expectantly. Tearing off a piece of bread, she places it in her mouth before suddenly grabbing the dagger and stabs the Horseman through his hand. Whilst Katrina attempts to flee, the Horseman pulls the dagger out of his hand and grabs Katrina by the hair, yanking her back and throwing her against the window. When she turns to face him, Katrina is grabbed around the throat and forced back into the chair. Binding her hands once again, the Horseman picks up his dagger and leaves the room.)

Chapter 33
The Land of Untold Stories.
(Milady walks alone through the streets, unknowingly being followed by a drunken Athos who’s out for revenge. Taking one last pull from his bottle, Athos then tosses it aside. The shattering of the glass alerts Milady to his presence but it is too late. Drawing his pistol, Athos points it at her head then reaches around to disarm Milady by throwing her hidden dagger to the ground.)
Athos: (Grabbing her around the throat he growls into her ear:) “Time to pay for your crimes,
‘Milady’.”
Musketeer Headquarters.
(D’Artagnan uses a knife to peel and eat an apple while he watches Porthos clean his weapons.)
D’Artagnan: “How many times have you cleaned those pistols tonight?”
Porthos: “Respect your weapon, and it'll respect you. Another thing you need to learn if you want to be a good musketeer.”
D'Artagnan: “All right, just so I know, this whole ‘D'Artagnan the apprentice musketeer’ thing - how long does it last? Because it’s been years now.”
Porthos: (Smirks:) “Well, as long as it's funny.”
(D’Artagnan scoffs and eats another piece of apple when Aramis runs breathlessly into the courtyard.)
Aramis: “Athos. He's taken a woman hostage. He's threatening to kill her.”
(The three musketeers hurry to intervene. Arriving at the scene, they urge the staring crowd to disperse.)
Porthos: “Clear!”
Aramis: “Get away!”
D'Artagnan: “Back!”
Porthos: “Stand away! (Reaching their friend:) Athos! (Milady gasps when Athos’ grip tightens around her throat:) Athos. Let her go.”
Athos: “She is a liar... and a murderer. And... she is the Cardinal's spy. (Milady gasps:) And she is my wife.”
(The other musketeers look to each other in shock at this revelation.)
Aramis: “Athos, my friend. You're drunk. Just release her and we can talk.”
Milady: “D'Artagnan, help me. He's gone mad.”
Athos: “You know her?”
Aramis: “So, she is your mysterious benefactor? Are you lovers too?”
D'Artagnan: “Once, before I knew anything about her.”
Porthos: “You slept with her?”
D'Artagnan: “You don't understand.”
(Porthos shoves him backwards.)
Athos: “You kept the truth from me.”
D'Artagnan: “Athos, I swear I didn't know. I didn't know.”
Athos: “Well, now you must choose, D'Artagnan. If you help her, you're not fit to call yourself a Musketeer.”
D’Artagnan: “I can't let you murder her.”
Milady: “D'Artagnan. Help me.”
(Athos now points his pistol at D’Artagnan as the others try to calm the situation.)
Aramis: “Hey! Let's talk about this, Athos! Put her down!”
(D’Artagnan sidesteps Porthos and lunges for Athos.)
Porthos: “D'Artagnan!”
(Athos fires, shooting D’Artagnan.)
Aramis: “No!”
Athos: (As D’Artagnan falls into his friends’ arms:) “You fool!”
(Athos releases Milady and staggers away whilst the other musketeers tend to their fallen comrade.)
Aramis: “D’Artagnan, stay with me. Stay awake, stay awake.”
(Stepping out of the shadows, Captain Rochefort takes hold of Milady’s arm and drags her away from the scene.)
Rochefort: “Do not waste this opportunity, Milady. Have the boy brought to your apartment and have his wounds tended there. There is still time to turn him to our side. Now go!”
(Rochefort shoves her back towards the musketeers as he once again returns to the shadows.)
Storybrooke. Belfrey’s.
(Maggie and Alex are sat at their table awaiting Maggie’s father.)
Alex: “Maybe he's having trouble parking.”
Maggie: (Scoffs:) “Parking what, his horse?”
Alex: “Do you want to try calling him?”
Maggie: “It's been forty-five minutes.”
Alex: “I'm sure there's a good reason he's not here.”
Maggie: “It's okay, Alex.”
Alex: “No, it's... Look, I feel bad. I can see it was an awkward thing that I pushed you into and now...”
Maggie: “No. It was thoughtful of you to try to get me and my dad in the same room. He’s just...”
Alex: “What?”
Maggie: “My father can be the most kind, generous and charming man you’ll ever meet. Until that mask slips and you get a glimpse of what lies beneath it all. After my mom died, he was all the family I had left in the world. So, when I told him I didn’t agree with what he had planned for the Enchanted Forest, he kinda flipped out and said that I could either get on board or get out of his way. And so, I left the family home and strove to make something of myself. I bummed around for a while, not really getting anywhere but I didn’t want to give up. I kinda think that’s what he expected of me, to fail and come crawling back to him with my tail between my legs, you know? Anyway, I was just reaching that point when I heard about the musketeers and how they were taking applicants for new members. Well, you know how that turned out.”
Alex: “Yes, I do. And may I say I am so glad they turned you down.”
Maggie: (Chuckles:) “Hey!”
Alex: “You know what I mean.”
Maggie: “Yeah, I do. Because you and Kara took a chance on me, I finally was able to prove myself. A part of me really wanted to rub it in my dad’s face tonight, but maybe it’s for the best he’s a no-show.”
Alex: “No, it isn't, and I’m sorry he gave you that ultimatum in the first place. It was a terrible thing for any father to say to his daughter.”
Maggie: “It doesn't matter anymore; it was a long time ago.”
Alex: “It does matter.”
Maggie: “Can we just get out of here?”
Alex: “Of course. (Catches the eye of a waiter:) Check, please.”

Chapter 32
The Land Without Magic. National City.
(Henry fumbles in his pockets and realises he’s forgotten his keys when the apartment door opens, and Ella pulls him inside.)
Ella: “Henry, we were so worried.”
Henry: “You were worried? (Pulling her into a hug and sighs in relief:) I’m so glad I found you. And, not to toot my own horn, but very quickly I might add.”
Ella: (Pulls away from the hug:) “Found me? Henry, we’ve been here all along. It’s you who’s been missing.”
Henry: “No, that’s not right. (Confused:) I came here to find you. And why do you keep saying ‘we’?”
Lucy: (Running into his arms:) “I knew you would be back!”
Henry: “Hey… you.”
Ella: “Henry, are you sure you’re all right?”
(Henry stares down at the smiling face of the girl hugging him and although he’s never seen her before, something inside tells him she’s his daughter.)
Henry: (Returning the smile, he looks up at Ella:) “You know, I’ve never been better.”
Graveyard.
(Standing alone, Ichabod is brought back to his senses by the chime of a church bell.)
Ichabod: (Looking around, he calls out:) “Henry? (Glancing down at his clothing, Ichabod is then drawn to the sound of music coming from a nearby building. Following the piano music, Ichabod enters a room filled with similarly dressed gentlemen where his gaze falls upon the man seated by the fireplace who rises from his chair to greet him:) Father.”
Thomas Crane: “Welcome, son. After years of service to his Majesty's army abroad, you've returned home a hero to your country. Cornwallis himself said the battle of Yorktown could not have been won without your decisive command!”
Ichabod: “But the British lost.”
(The men in the room all laugh.)
Thomas Crane: “Still a little light-headed, I see.”
Ichabod: “I don't understand.”
Thomas Crane: “You've been granted a full professorship with all its attendant perquisites. Because of you, the Crane name will live on in these hallowed halls, a chain of unbroken purpose. Have you nothing to say?”
Ichabod: (Steps closer to his father:) “When I turned against England... You swore you'd never speak to me again. You disavowed me as your son.”
Thomas Crane: (Chuckles:) “Ichabod, you... you rum-beggar. Even as a boy, your imagination always skewed toward the Greek tragedies! You are... And always will be... A child after my own heart. (He opens his arms:) Come to me. (Ichabod readily accepts his father’s embrace:) I love you, my boy. (They part:) And now, libation!”
(A server enters the room carrying a tray of drinks.)
Storybrooke. Main Street.
(Having just left Goldilocks’ gym, Alex and Maggie walk arm in arm down the street, carrying rolled up yoga mats over their shoulders.)
Maggie: “So was yoga as awful as you thought it would be?”
Alex: “Yes.”
Maggie: (Laughing:) “You're in a league of your own, Danvers.”
Alex: “Ugh... Look at us. We're that couple. With the yoga mats and the flirtatious bickering.”
Maggie: “I know. It's perfect... Dad?”
(The pair stop dead in their tracks at the sight of the man headed straight towards them.)
Rochefort: (Smiling:) “I was just on my way to see you.”
Maggie: (Clearly flustered to see him:) “How are... Are you staying in town long?”
Rochefort: “Just a flying visit, I’m afraid. I wanted to see how you were settling in at your new position.”
Maggie: “Oh. Okay.”
Rochefort: “Really now, Margarita, is that any way to greet your father?”
(Maggie shakes her head and awkwardly accepts her father’s embrace.)
Alex: (As soon as they part, she offers her hand:) “Hi. I'm Alex.”
Maggie: “Oh, I'm sorry. Dad, this is my girlfriend, Alex.”
Rochefort: (Removes his hat and bows:) “Captain Rochefort at your service. (Takes Alex’s hand and kisses it:) A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Alex. If my daughter is anything like her father, I assume she’s told you very little about me?”
Alex: (Chuckles:) “You would be correct, Sir.”
Rochefort: “Yes, well, it’s been a while since we’ve spoken even for this long.”
Maggie: “It's been... Yeah.”
Rochefort: “We really should make an effort to catch up sometime.”
Maggie: “Sure. That would be good. Sometime.”
(There is a long, awkward silence.)
Rochefort: “Well, I should go and let you ladies continue with whatever business you must attend to. It was wonderful to meet you, Alex.”
Alex: “You too. (Captain Rochefort stands watching them, fiddling with the brim of his hat as they walk away before Alex takes Maggie aside:) Hey, what about tonight?”
Maggie: “What?”
Alex: “Well, clearly he wants to catch up, and we don't have any plans.”
Maggie: “No. I can't. Come on. It's cold.”
Alex: “Hey, this is your father we’re talking about. Do you see how cool I'm being about this? I mean, come on.”
Maggie: (Purses her lips then turns and calls out to her father:) “Dad? (Rochefort looks up innocently, pretending he didn’t hear every word of their exchange:) Do you want to have dinner with us tonight?”
Rochefort: (Smiles a genuine smile:) “I would be delighted. (Replacing the hat upon his head:) Just let me know where.”
Alex: “We will.”
Rochefort: “Splendid.”
(Alex puts her arm around Maggie as they continue on their way.)
Alex: “See, that wasn't so bad.”

Chapter 31
Storybrooke. Swan-Mills House. Morning.
(Following an evening spent making love well into the wee hours of the morning, Emma and Regina’s slumber is disturbed by a shared dream which involves their son. Bound to a wall by a series of vines, Henry struggles to free himself whilst yelling for help.)
Regina: (Waking with a start:) “Henry! (Realising it’s just a dream, she turns her head to see Emma stirring beside her:) Did you…”
Emma: “See Henry in danger? Yeah. What was that?”
Regina: “I’ve no idea. (At that moment the doorbell rings and Regina springs from the bed, throwing the covers aside onto Emma:) Try calling Henry. I’ll get the door.”
Emma: (Still groggy:) “What if it’s him at the door?”
Regina: “Then I’ll reimburse you the cost of the call. Please, just call him.”
Emma: “Fine, fine.”
(Hurrying from the room, Regina heads along the hallway towards the stairs. Halfway down she realises she’s still in her pyjamas and with a flick of her wrist she disappears amidst a cloud of smoke and reappears at the foot of the stairs appropriately dressed and ready to answer the door. Upon opening it however, Regina is almost knocked off her feet when Snow White collapses, already sobbing into her arms. Whilst Snow utters a string of unintelligible words into her shoulder, Regina looks to David who shrugs his shoulders before entering the house.)
David: “Snow wanted to apologise and apparently it couldn’t wait a moment longer.”
A Short Time Later.
(At the sound of her parents’ voices coming from downstairs, Emma joins them in the living room, still wearing her pyjamas. Having calmed down considerably, Snow turns to greet her daughter with a warm smile as Emma wanders over to hug her father.)
Snow White: “Surely there’s something you can do to make sure I can’t be possessed again?”
Regina: (Sitting opposite Snow at the table:) “Well, there is… but you’re not going to like it.”
Snow White: “Regina, I can’t afford to let what happened yesterday taint my reputation. If people think their school principal can be possessed at any moment, the parents will simply pull their children out of school.”
Emma: “Have you considered taking a sabbatical? (As Snow looks at her:) I mean, at least until we can figure out how to put an end to these possessions once and for all?”
David: “That’s exactly what I said, but Snow thinks-”
Snow White: “Snow knows that if I’m not there to explain to the children what happened in person, then I’ll never get their trust back.”
David: (Whilst Emma takes a seat on the couch:) “It’s not as if you don’t have a faculty you can fall back on. You’re forever telling me how fantastic they all are.”
Snow White: “Fantastic as teachers, David. Administration is a completely different skill set.”
Regina: “One that you failed at spectacularly when you were mayor.”
Snow White: “I’ve grown a lot since then, Regina, and need I remind you that the role was unceremoniously dumped in my lap when you decided to take a leave of absence.”
Regina: (Chuckles:) “Always with the excuses. ‘I had no training’, ‘I was possessed’, ‘I was only ten years old.’”
Emma: “Uh, guys, I think we’re getting a little sidetracked here.”
Snow White: “Yes, thank you, Emma. So come on, Regina, how can I guarantee my students and their parents that I won’t be possessed again?”
(As if on cue, a cloud of green smoke appears in the middle of the room and Zelena stands holding a heart in her hand.)
Zelena: (Proffering the heart to Emma:) “Here you are, and don’t say I never get you anything.”
Emma: (Recoiling, leans back against the seat cushions:) “Whose heart is that?”
Zelena: “Dorothy’s of course. (Glances over at Regina who seems amused:) I did what we talked about last night. I offered Dorothy a choice, either she could stay locked in the cells until this is all over or I can take her heart, and she can go free.”
David: “That’s how you’re going to guarantee Snow isn’t possessed?! There’s no way that-”
Snow White: “I’ll do it.”
Emma & David: “You will?!”
Snow White: “If it gets me back to work, no question.”
Regina: “Well, I must say I admire your pluck. Although I doubt many others will allow us to take their hearts so eagerly.”
Anastasia: “Oh you’re so right, darling.”
(All eyes turn to the far side of the room where Anastasia and Merida appear out of nowhere. The queen of DunBroch stands with her bow drawn back whilst her consort sits nonchalantly on a chair.)
Merida: (To Zelena:) “Hands up, Witch and don’t try anything stupid.”
Anastasia: “You see, not only are we not going to let you take our hearts, but we’ve come to take back Dorothy’s and collect dear Snow as well.”
David: (Stepping forward:) “Over my dead body.”
Merida: (Pointing her bow at David:) “Aye, it may well come to that too.”
Anastasia: “I’m afraid the Dark Lord requires all of his loyal subjects by his side and we’ve been tasked with rounding them all up.”
Emma: (Stands:) “Take one step towards my mom, and you’ll regret it.”

Chapter 30
The Kingdom of Valencia. Tournament Finals.
(The gathered crowd applauds as King Richard, Queen Roberta and Cardinal Richelieu take their seats for the final contest. Situated opposite the royal box, Milady finds herself a seat in the stands to watch D’Artagnan take on the mighty Gareth in the final duel.)
Announcer: “Representing the Land of Untold Stories, the musketeer champion, D’Artagnan!”
(The crowd cheer and applaud whilst King Richard leans over to playfully taunt the Cardinal.)
King Richard: “My old fox will see off your man, Cardinal.”
Announcer: “And representing the Kingdom of Valencia, our champion, Gareth!”
King Richard: (Whilst the crowd cheer like crazy:) “You know, this is highly irregular. By all rights, your man should be in custody if the rumours are to be believed.”
Cardinal: “Oh, I'm a great believer in rehabilitation, Sire. Besides, D’Artagnan is innocent until proven guilty.”
Announcer: “The shooting and wrestling rounds have been waived! The contest will be settled in favour of the superior swordsman!”
(The Announcer bows towards the royal box and leaves the arena floor. Gareth draws his sword and twirls in his opponent’s direction.)
Gareth: “I'm going to enjoy this.”
D'Artagnan: “Somehow I doubt it.”
(The duel begins, both men evenly matched as they cross swords.)
Gareth: (Taunting:) “Is that the best you got?”
(D’Artagnan uses the lessons from Athos to channel his anger into out manoeuvring Gareth with his swordplay. Unfortunately for the musketeer, Gareth is not beyond playing dirty to gain an advantage.)
Ella: (Winces when Gareth first punches then headbutts D’Artagnan:) “Can he do that?”
Henry: “I don’t think so. I mean it’s hardly within the rules of sportsmanship. What do you think, Your Majesty?”
Queen Roberta: (Innocently:) “I wasn't aware that there were any rules. Come on, Gareth!”
(Despite Gareth’s underhanded tactics, D’Artagnan rallies and regains control of the contest, slicing his opponent’s arm, causing him to drop his sword. As the other musketeers watch appreciatively, D’Artagnan looks to the royal box for confirmation of his victory.)
(Reluctantly, King Richard rises to his feet and is about to declare the winner when Gareth attacks with unrestrained fury. Charging his opponent, Gareth drops all pretence of duelling, using his sword as a club to beat D’Artagnan down. Staggering backwards, D’Artagnan is pinned against the wall of the arena whilst Gareth continues his punishing assault. Managing to regain control of the duel briefly, D’Artagnan’s momentum is thwarted once again by a hammer-like punch from Gareth which sends him tumbling to the ground. Pressing his advantage, Gareth stomps on his opponent, causing the crowd to finally turn on their champion. Realising things are getting out of hand, King Richard tries to call a halt to the contest while the other musketeers draw their swords in anger. Turning to face them, Gareth waves the musketeers forward, intending to take them all on. Before things can descend into chaos however, D’Artagnan uses the distraction to sweep Gareth’s legs out from under him and scramble back to his feet.)
D'Artagnan: (Holding his sword at Gareth’s throat:) “Do you yield?”
(Gareth snarls up at him, attempting to grab his own sword before D’Artagnan kicks it out of reach. With no other choice, Gareth nods his head before raising his hands in surrender. The crowd cheers and Athos, Porthos & Aramis rush to congratulate their comrade.)
A Short Time Later.
(As the crowds disperse, Milady is walking along when she is met by the Cardinal who is ominously wielding a sword.)
Cardinal: “Whose side were you on? (Milady stops walking and turns to him:) I'm curious.”
Milady: “Yours, of course.”
Cardinal: “Really? So, why provide the funds for D'Artagnan's involvement?”
Milady: “Have you been spying on me?”
Cardinal: “I need to know who my true friends are, Milady. Explain yourself.”
Milady: “If you wish to see the Musketeers destroyed, D'Artagnan is the key. As you know I'm plotting to bring him over to our side.”
Cardinal: “And do you seriously believe that he can be turned after this?”
Milady: “You underestimate my powers of seduction.”
Cardinal: “For your sake, Milady, I hope you're as persuasive as you think.”
Storybrooke. Crane’s Cabin. Continued.
(Still reeling from the attack, the group try to make sense of what may have caused their friends to turn on them.)
Emma: “So it was Dorothy, Merida and Anastasia. (Alex and Maggie nod, to Regina:) Could they be making some sort of power play?”
Regina: (Scoffs:) “DunBroch? We’d crush them without so much as a second thought.”
Maggie: “Yeah well as long as you leave Dorothy to me.”
Alex: “Maggie…”
Maggie: “What, you’re not still going to defend her after this?”
Alex: “Clearly she’s not in her right mind-”
Maggie: “Oh come on, Danvers!”
Emma: “Wait! That’s it. (Looks to Regina:) Medea. She’s the one behind this.”
Regina: (Unsure:) “Medea’s dead. We watched her relic burn.”
Emma: “That doesn’t mean she’s really gone. What if she’s still out there somewhere and still has the power to control those she possessed before.”
Regina: “Well if that’s true then we have more people to worry about than just the DunBroch duo and Dorothy.”
(Everyone’s attention returns to the bound man in the chair as he chuckles to himself.)
Ichabod: “Something amusing, Sergeant?”
Desk Sergeant: “Medea may have lit the fuse, but she’s not the one controlling the board. The one who knows the endgame, who moves all the chess pieces around.”
Regina: (Walks over and leans down to get in his face:) “Then who is it?”
Desk Sergeant: “You have already met him Mrs Regina Swan-Mills. You all have. You, Mrs Emma Swan-Mills and Mr. Ichabod Crane.”

Chapter 29
Storybrooke. Kara & Alex’s Apartment. The Next Morning.
(Kara answers the door to find Maggie standing there.)
Maggie: “Hey, Kara. Is Alex around?”
Kara: “Uh, no you just missed her. (Stepping aside to let her into the apartment:) Something about going to Crane’s cabin?”
Maggie: “I was hoping I could see her before the day started. I need to apologise for ruining last night.”
Kara: “Oh, things didn’t go well?”
Maggie: “Well they would have done if I hadn’t acted like an idiot.”
Kara: (Nods:) “Look, I know Valentine's Day might not be happy for you, but it means something to Alex to spend a romantic holiday with someone she cares about. Maybe you might want to consider making some changes for her. (Glances over at the many flowers left by Lena the night before:) Here. (She walks over and picks up one of the vases:) Take these and see if you can’t make it up to her.”
Maggie: “I can’t take your flowers and give them to Alex. That’s worse than buying them from a gas station.”
Kara: “Suit yourself, but I know where you’re coming from. I’ve already got something in mind to make things up to Lena for our lame Valentine’s Day and I suggest you do the same. (Checks her watch:) I gotta go or I’m gonna be late.”
Maggie: (Nods:) “Thanks, Kara. (They walk to the door:) You gave me a lot to think about.”
Ichabod’s Cabin.
(Ichabod sits at his desk whilst Alex paces back and forth detailing the events of her evening with Maggie.)
Alex: “I know I shouldn’t complain because let’s face it, Maggie and I did spend the evening snuggling, but the atmosphere was all wrong. (Sighs:) Is it too much for a girl to want her Valentine’s Day to include some romance, candlelight and some really good-”
Ichabod: (Cutting in:) “Perhaps may we return to the task at hand? Sympathetic though I am to your disappointing evening, I don’t believe it really compares to mine. Not only is my wife trapped in Purgatory, but I also had to destroy my son’s only protector in this world.”
Alex: “You’re right, I’m sorry. Things could’ve gone a lot worse than some weepy cuddling.”
Ichabod: “Indeed. For example, you could have been visited by Lucifer and told you’re going to be responsible for sacrificing a dear friend’s soul to him.”
Alex: “There is that.”
Ichabod: (Glancing down at his notes:) “This. The Saint's name. I can make neither rhyme nor reason of it.”
Alex: “Look, I wanna figure out the meaning behind your encounter with Lucifer as much as you, but I'm not gonna let him get to us.”
Ichabod: “It's because of the way he spoke. It instilled a fear in me like I've never felt before.”
Alex: “You ever heard of a boondoggle?”
Ichabod: “I’m sure you won’t be surprised to know that I have not.”
Alex: “Well, a boondoggle is an exercise in futility. It's a time suck, a fool's errand.”
Ichabod: “And you're suggesting Lucifer created such a mission for me?”
Alex: “I think that maybe you did some damage to his plan, and that maybe he's getting a little nervous. So, he concocted a mind game to get to you.”
Ichabod: “It’s possible. But we shall have to agree to disagree. You have your way of dealing with reality, and I have mine.”
Swan-Mills House.
(Ella and Emma sit quietly while their significant others have a heated conversation.)
Henry: “Mom, I hear what you’re saying but you can’t just ban me from seeing Ichabod like I’m still ten years old, it’s ridiculous.”
Regina: “It’s not ridiculous, it’s about keeping you safe.”
Henry: “And I appreciate that, but I’m my own man now. I don’t need you setting terms on how I live my life.”
Emma: “Henry…”
Henry: (Takes a breath:) “I didn’t mean that to sound as harsh as it did. I just meant that I’m married and have a child on the way, I know what’s at stake.”
Emma: “We know you do. But we also know you’re the first one to go looking for adventure no matter the risk.”
Henry: “That’s not true. (All three women start to speak but Henry cuts them off:) Okay, it’s not as true as it once was.”
Ella: “Your mothers are right to be concerned, Henry. It’s not even like we have to go searching for danger for it to find us.”
Regina: “I know you may have formed a bond with Ichabod, but your family must be your priority. Don’t tempt fate by looking for trouble. Remember that the love of family bonds us all.”
Henry: (Stands:) “I will and I’m not going to, but what I am going to do is take my wife to watch the competition happening in Valencia this afternoon. We’ll be watching safely from the stands, and the only danger will be to the competitors in the tournament.”
Regina: “Do you want me to fix you something to eat before you go?”
Henry: (Leans down to hug Emma goodbye:) “Nah, we’ll just grab something at the tournament.”
Emma: (Hugging him close:) “Let your mom make you something.”
Henry: “But-”
Ella: “No offence to the vendors in Valencia, especially as it used to be my family’s kingdom, but I’d really rather not eat something at a sporting event.”
Regina: “No, I agree, especially whilst you’re pregnant. It’s settled then. (Holds out her hand:) Come on, I’ll make you something nice so you can enjoy the tournament on a full stomach.”
Ella: (Taking Regina’s hand:) “Thanks, Regina.”
Henry: (Watching his wife disappear into the kitchen with his mom:) “Still getting her own way after all this time.”
Emma: (Standing up from the sofa:) “Kid, I admire this whole independent streak you’re going for, I really do. But I’m in total agreement with Regina on this and if you’re not going to listen to your moms, you’re damn sure going to listen to your queens. Stay away from Crane and look after your family.”
Henry: (Nods:) “I will Mom, honest.”
Emma: “Good. Now go get your butt in the kitchen and help your mom with breakfast before you miss the start of the archery contest or whatever it is.”
Henry: (Laughs as Emma turns him towards the kitchen and they begin walking:) “It’s not archery, it’s sword fighting and we’re going to support Gareth.”
Emma: “Uh huh, sounds great. Let’s eat already!”

THEY GO TO THE MAFINCA IMMEDIATELY. OF COURSE THEY DO! THEY ARE SO HAPPY. Why is there even any other plot in the preview. It should be an hour of THEM.
