Get Ready for Scott McCall Appreciation Week 2026!
This year’s Scott McCall Appreciation Week will be running June 8-14, 2026! To participate, simply make something about Scott and tag it with #ScottMcCallWeek26, or mention us @scottappreciation. Gen works, all Scott ships, and all types of content (fics, edits, art, playlists, gifs, etc.) are welcome. We have included some suggested prompts below, and you are free to mix & match or sub writing/visual prompts as you desire.

All works must be Scott-centric and Scott-positive. Scott does not need to be the POV character, but the primary focus of the piece should be Scott’s emotions/interests/needs/etc.
WRITING PROMPTS:
Day One - Dragging Me Down to Your Nerd Depths: It's time to explore all the little details in Scott's life! Whether it's his interest in STEM, his fondness for Greek Myth, obsessive SAT prep, love of Weird Animal Knowledge, or any of the myriad of hobbies his room and flashbacks suggest (guitar, skateboarding, bands, etc) or you think would fit well, today is for exploring the interests unique to Scott!
Day Two - I Cried Too: What does taking pain mean to Scott? What did his first time look like? How did it feel after the nogitsune ripped his pain out of him? What happens when Scott takes too much pain? How does he handle taking the pain of someone who hurt him? What about someone taking his pain? Make today's fics hurt!
Day Three - What's So Special About Scott McCall: s4 gives us so many juicy themes in Scott's life to delve deeper into—his relationship with his parents, individually or collectively, his fears of becoming a monster, difficulties with money, navigating school, a social life, and The Horrors simultaneously, a second death, a uniquely cruel trap set by Peter, and what it means for him to be an alpha. For today's prompt, any aspect of s4 is fair game!
Day Four - The First Person I Ever Loved, The Person I'll Always Love: Scott's relationship with Allison defines the show's heart and enduring themes. Explore their first connection, their heartbreak, their yearning, their complementary leadership roles, the way they make each other grow, how hot they look sparring, how well they work together in a fight. Give us your visions of Allison's return or your Scallison AU where she never died—whatever (positively) explores this pairing is fair game!
Day Five - Onwards and Upwards: Scott goes to college! After getting into his dream school despite being more or less tortured and killed continuously through high school, college + a war with Monroe seems like a piece of cake. Maybe there's a new threat on the horizon. Maybe everyone chills together and Scott and Stiles live together like they promised they would. We want your college era visions!
Day Six - It Wants Me to Do It: Peter's bite, Gerard's blackmail, Deucalion's maneuvering, Kate's mask: so much of the series revolves around Scott being used as a weapon, and today's the day to explore it—or make up a new scenario where someone tries again!
