i will also be writing blair as if she DID get into yale. she does suffer a bit of a setback because of her interview and everything ( doesn’t bully her teacher cause no ) and while she thinks it’s not happening, she has her little crisis. trying to figure out what to do, even cuts her hair. ( no pixie cut like in the books but it’s slightly dramatic )
some of my canon divergencies because why not?
blair’s relationship with chuck is only the fling that they had during high school before she got back together with nate and that is all. they don’t get back together before college or anything.
she dated nate, broke up, dated marcus and then ended things and it was okay cause she wasn’t really THAT interested in him. had her fling with carter when her life was falling apart because of college before she got back together with nate before they broke up at prom.
all through college, she didn’t seriously date anyone. there were flings here and there with both men and women, wanting to grow and really experience life.
she will have some unresolved feelings towards serena. sometimes she might snap at serena because of this unwanted crush until she finally accepts the feelings that she has towards her best friend and moves on from it. ( i don’t know if she would ever actually admit this to serena though, we’d have to figure that out if a serena ever wants to write them )
she does end up dating and marrying louis grimaldi, but there’s no baby with chuck or anything. no car crash. she does run away from the wedding, calling dan since they’ve grown a lot closer over the years.
and she does date dan, going along with the show, but ends things to focus on her career, wanting to build her very own empire.
might add more later as i think of them, but here are some things that have to do with her romantic relationships.

I was watching an episode of Gossip Girl when I wrote this so some are plucked straight from the episode while others are paraphrased/inspired by actual lines.
