matt leblanc about watching “friends” reruns
So here is the deal: Barney loved both Ted and Robin. REALLY loved them. Anddd Ted didn’t give a shit about Barney and was obsessed with getting Robin back.
It sucks to see how after The Goat NOBODY missed Barney in the gang or took him seriously. Like, they talked about him like he was some pet they used to own and only had to made them laugh or something. They proved they didn’t care if he was around or not. Only Robin would hang out with him and I bet it was cause she felt guilty. He ALWAYS cared about ALL of them and despite being a horrible human being with the ladies he was the best of friends for the gang. He was treated badly all along the show mostly by Ted and its a shame to only come to see that now that its so obvious after that finale that he was always just the comic relief. He was a marvelous character presented as a sidekick that ended being pretty much the hero. To me he even became more important than Ted; it was so obvious how he was subtlely reaching the leading part as the seasons went by. I love him so much.
What’s Galentine’s Day? Oh, it’s only the best day of the year. Every February 13th, Leslie Knope and her lady friends leave their husbands and their boyfriends at home and just kick it breakfast style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It’s like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus, frittatas!

MATT LeBLANC: There’s only five people in the world who know exactly what being on Friends was like, other than me. There’s five of them. David, Matthew, Lisa, Courteney, and Jen. That’s it. Marta and David were close, but when they left the stage, no one knew what they did. We could never leave the stage, metaphorically speaking. Still can’t. Still on that stage. That will follow us around forever.
More important than anything else is the look on people’s faces when you cross paths with them in the street, or in the store, or in the grocery line. You can always tell that you were—maybe still are, maybe always will be—a part of their family. Movies have this thing where it’s an event. You get dressed up, you go to dinner, and you go to the movies. You’re outside of your element. But with television, people are watching you in bed, at their kitchen table eating. You’re in their house.
I did not want it to end.
