Welcome to the blog of many things. It has one theme: if I find it funny/cool/interesting/degenerate (affectionate) you’ll find it here.

You may also enjoy a fine selection of musings (aka schitposts) done by yours truly. I strive to blend tumblr culture with 11 years of reddit lore to produce truly stupid shit for you to point and laugh at.

I love communicating and can find interest in basically anything so feel free to also tag me in cool shit you find as well. This is social media after all.

This feels like a fucken cover letter but I wanted a pinned post so apologies for using my redditor voice lol. I like crocheting, video games, comics, pondering orbs, Oxford Commas, and going feral occasionally. I generally try to tag my shit so you can filter out whatever.

My favorite thing about going from a player to a GM now is seeing what my players decide to latch on to. Especially if they’re newbies like my group. Spoiler alert: it’s never what you expect.

They’ve found magical swords that can be bribed to cast spells. Arcane armor that can turn the wearer completely invisible. Piles of gold and markets to spend it at. You wanna know how many times those items have been used yet? Zero, and that’s okay, because they’re having fun tricking the fuck out of their wagon.

There’s this shop in town called the Bridle Shower, run by a dwarf named Dyson. First session they bought a wagon and fought for who got to drive it. A few sessions later and they’ve added a convertible cover, souped up suspension, and some emerald plated off-road wheels to it. I think there were talks of adding spinners to it at some point. Last session they even bought another horse and doubled the wagon’s horsepower. Which they got a discount for by saving a kidnapped child, endearing them to Dyson who lost his daughter years ago.

The best part? Dyson was completely made up on the spot that first session. It’s shit like this that makes me love ttrpgs, and why I take the game a session at a time.

Get ready for the lovechild of two of my favorite hobbies: DnD and fucken crafting

Wanted to make a session special for my newbie players. They’ve been tracking down a kidnapped NPC and did battle with a good ol’ fashion banderhobb. Here’s a few shots of the setup I printed out for the lab they found themselves in. Don’t remember all my sources atm but the tile set is openforge if anyone wants to print their own dungeons.

I really like more simplistic, hand drawn styles like this. Hence my own map, I suppose! I thought about writing in location labels on my map as well, but honestly think it would crowd it too much. I could see it looking really cool on a wider-scale map like yours!

I don’t have a pic of the finished product, but I used this jar to make a potion prop for a puzzle!

the players had to use a list of recipes plus the way it looked and smelled to determine what kind of potion it was.

Heyo - this is kinda awkward, but you're my only mutual and you like crocheting. :)

So I started knitting yesterday and never crocheted. Mostly because it seemed really hard. I have a few quesrions (if that's okay)

Why crochet, not knit or other?

How did you start?

I really like crochet toys, can you recommend an easy free pattern? Maybe also some small, quick projects of any kind? (Fast results is always kinda nice lol)

Hey there! So sorry for just seeing this now, I’ve been a bit of a hermit lately. ;) Let me give ya some answers.

-Really, I crochet because my mom does and she’s who taught me! But I like it because it seems pretty simple to get in to, and from what I’ve heard it goes quicker than knitting if you’re a beginner in both. But your mileage may vary.

-My mom taught me! But when I really got into it I just looked up YouTube videos if I ran into any issues.

-That was going to be my question for you; what do you like making or what interests you? If you like toys, I would honestly recommend looking up how to do a magic circle on YouTube, I’ve found that’s the easiest way to start learning. Do you have a favorite animal or anything you’d like to make?

-I don’t, but if you have anything you find interesting that you want to crochet let me know and I can find a pattern that might help! I use an app called “Alpaca” to find my patterns. Either that or just googling honestly, lol.

But no, I don’t have any particular content I stick to, I’m a mixed bag! Get back to me if you have the time and I’d love to help you. And that goes for anyone reading this as well. Crocheting is fun and meditative for me and I love teaching others.
