Hidekane Week 2018 is here, from July 23—July 29!
For its fourth year in a row (WOW!) Hidekane Week is back on. Although the manga may be ending, this weeklong celebration is here to hold you over until the second cour of the :re anime in October (and who knows, maybe even more content from the series). Remember, any “version” of Kaneki (including Haise and Sasako) can be included, and rules and format remain the same from previous years.
Last year, many users requested a more lighthearted and open approach to the theme, and it worked out great. Well, we’ve decided to continue that approach with……………💕💕 LOVE 💕💕
Yes, Hidekane Week 2018′s theme is Love. We’re very original. But sarcasm aside, despite the cliché, Love encapsulates everything these two have been through in the series, and we couldn’t find a more appropriate theme as the series closes more doors.
Prompts still have the 3-system (1 general and 2 specifics), and as always, feel free to pick only one, two, or all three options!
Day 1 ––– Sacrifice / Partners in Crime / “Your precious Hide-kun.”
Day 2 ––– Unrequited / Sloppy Emotional Texts / Love Potion AU
Day 3 ––– Questioning / Friends to Lovers / “‘Cause I love the guy.”
Day 4 ––– Experimenting / Butterflies in the Stomach / Slow Dance
Day 5 ––– Lovesick / Dreaming of Each Other / “I’m so lonely without you.”
Day 6 ––– Heartache / Love Letter / The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?
Day 7 ––– Promises / Domestic AU / ANYTHING GOES!
These are guidelines. You can take them literally or bend them to your own interpretation. We encourage everyone to just have fun and get creative! As long as it follows the rules and format, we’ll reblog it :)
