I know people say Carol is the strongest person of the MCU or whatever but clearly it’s Pepper

Telling someone you love, who is your entire life, “We’re going to be okay, you can rest now” is about hardest thing in life to do.

She sacrificed her feelings, her right to break down in front of him and beg him not to go, and instead told Tony they’d be ok without him, so that he could feel like it was ok to die. So that he wouldn’t feel guilt. And she didn’t break down and cry until after he was gone so that he wouldn’t feel bad for leaving.

The reason the Irondad cheek kiss wasn’t in the movie was because the Russos know that the fan base would turn it and make it into something horrifically weird and see it as romantic because people don’t know how to appreciate PLATONIC AFFECTION for what it is

Marvel Studios has announced Clark Gregg and Lee Pace, known to Marvel fans as Agent Coulson and Ronan the Accuser, will appear in Captain Marvel.

In a press release announcing the start of production on Captain Marvel, Marvel Studios has confirmed a few cast members that were previously only speculated about by fans: Clark Gregg, the beloved Agent Phil Coulson from the earliest Marvel Cinematic Universe films and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., along with Djimon Hounsou and Lee Pace, who both previously appeared in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

Additionally, a new synopsis has been released for the 2019 film:

The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I’m never on here anymore but I still see you all post all the things- I’m not caught up on SHIELD but basically it’s all spoiled for me, I’m going to watch when I have time.

But can someone help- what’s up with Coulson? Is he dead? Dying? Tbh he’s the reason I watched this show in the first place and I’m going to be so upset

Sometimes I think about pre academy Fitz & Simmons out there in the world graduating college and getting masters degrees by the age of 16

And being all sorts of singled out and lonely and awkward and confused by the social norms of their adult surroundings

And how exponentially hard it would have been for Fitz who probably got sent to university as a pre-pubescent thirteen year old but only after years of public school being really hard for him because he was light years ahead and too shy to say anything

And he goes to university early and keeps his head down and gets most of his bachelors coursework done in a matter of months and soon he’s fourteen and he’s starting his doctorate thesis on quantum mechanics and getting offers and calls from all over the world and then his fifteen year old self has to navigate this huge life choice

And Jemma Simmons being bright and attractive and celebrated by her family but ultimately being chided by her classmates for being a know it all and inevitably being looked down on by her peers because she is young and a woman and pretty in a scientific field

And maybe it seems like she had it easier because her parents and teachers recognized her talents early and put her in to tutoring and accelerated programs at a private school - but it was still really isolating

And then finally they’re both in this amazing place full of the smartest people in the world doing life changing, world saving work and they’re both in awe and reverberating with excitement at this building full of people like them - but they’re still the youngest and the smallest, and everything is so American and ‘did I make a mistake coming here?’

And then they meet each other and collide like magnets and there’s weeks where Fitz doesn’t know how to talk to Jemma and she is worried he’ll think she’s following him around but finally they get partnered up in a lab and its like “oh, there you are, I found you”

This is random, but has anyone on here ever studied abroad?

I’m an introvert, and the program sounds pretty structured with a tightly-knit schedule, and you do most of the stuff with your class, but I’m worried…

AoS New Year’s Day *May and Daisy are hungover.  *Lincoln is reflecting on his midnight kiss with Daisy but doesn’t know if she remembers it. *Jemma is busy setting a color coded work schedule for herself for the next 12 months, throwing in a bit of extra research on Peggy Carter here and there. *Fitz is trying to figure out how he designed a microscopic ray gun while slightly tipsy last night *FitzSimmons are avoiding eye contact because of their midnight kiss… *Coulson starts to text all of the Avengers “Happy New Year!” Before realizing they still think he’s dead *Bobbi and Hunter get into a fight over who does New Years better- Americans or Brits. *Everyone is warning Coulson and May that they will have bad luck this year since they didn’t have a New Years kiss… They argue that they had a Philinda high five, so they’re good.

*Ward: sends Coulson a card that says “Happy 2016: it’s a magical year!” With a picture of the Hydra octopus wearing a party hat
