I love it when people use "shrimp" to mean "beyond the human range". like "shrimp colors" but applied to other things. "shrimp emotions" "shrimp sounds" "shrimp morality", as if shrimp are living some kind of transcendent existence that humans can never comprehend
“Gays can’t drive” posts drive me nuts. Everyone knows that Gays have their Designated Gay who learned how to drive, and now does all the driving.
I really like “pretentious” writing styles. Complex language, labyrinthine sentences, long parenthetical asides… I love them. It’s like going on a scenic tour and encountering strange and wondrous new sights and sounds. Language is beautiful and words are free, so why be economical? Indulge! Be decadent!
