WHERE IS THE SIXTH OXYGEN IN GALACTOSE OPEN CHAIN FORM. WHERE DID IT GO. WHAT DID IT DO WITH IT. Why are they only 5 Os when there are 6 Os in the rest I'm about to have an anxiety attack about it what did the GALACTOSE do with the SIXTH OXYGEN

So actually it turns out I'm just Very Autistic and my professor's graphic was wrong. C4 counting from the aldehyde should have a hydroxyl on the left side (HO-C-H instead of H-C-H)

I can't have been the first student to notice that though??? Right???
