no, you’re good !! i appreciate you being polite about it. by trans aus i mean those aus people have where a character is trans in only one verse and every other verse is them being cis. most of the time they’re angst fests that make everything solely basing around them being trans and there’s a bunch of problems to that. making canon characters trans is all good and fun, especially since any character can be trans, just so long as it’s in every verse, which is what i would do so it’s not a trans au, it’s just my version of canon !! which i hope that makes sense ??

hugo has undiagnosed adhd. it’s why he gets so overwhelmed easily and he can’t grasp things quite as much as he would like to. he’s a very visual learner, reading things won’t do anything for him. he’ll end up reading the same sentence over and over and be absolutely unable to actually process it because his brain just ... doesn’t work like that. he finds paying attention to be an impossible task and he doesn’t understand why he can’t just understand what everyone else seems to be able to. which only tends to frustrate him all the more.

#anyway the fact it's canon he was almost in tears bc he couldn't understand is such an adhd mood #i'll end up going more into this too at some point probably & talk more about how his adhd effects other situations #but fjdskalfdsa idk i'm having a blast w/ these tiny headcanons #⧽ &. in my defense i was left unsupervised. → meta. ⧼

hugo’s going to be a failed blackwing subject

most of the time it’s going to be based after his death and after he’s gained omnipotence. he primarily stays behind the scenes but can step out whenever he wants

hugo trusted ken so much because he didn’t have anyone else !! he doesn’t have many friends, he had absolutely no one to confide in and he was stressed. ken didn’t treat him like as if he was an absolute idiot ( at first ) so it was easy for hugo to trust him and to confide in him. even though he knows he’s not the brightest bulb in the box, he liked being treated as if he’s not just some clueless disaster. he didn’t think he was going to be used as a way for ken to climb up the ranks and it really made him feel stupid when he did realize it.
