Sophie was relieved for a second to see him open his eyes and now she was about to face another problem. Carefully following his eye and hand movements she felt her heart pounding in her chest as if it wanted to break away. But she had to look as strong as she could until she made sure the intruder was no threat. His cockiness though, that caught her off guard. He was the one covered in wine with nothing but boxers on -and hand ties- and yet still he was trying to make a joke? “What- what the fuck? Who are you and what were you doing in front of my window? Hey- put your hands somewhere I can see them or else I’m calling the cops.” she said looking him directly in the eye, in an attempt to create a bold impression.
Julian chuckled at her display of authority. "Cute," he muttered under his breathe while she was giving her demand. "Alright, alright, you've got me," he said nonchalantly. He did as he was told; leaning forward and resting his boung hands on his knees. His body felt sticky with the dried wine that had left a portion of his hair dripping. It was either wine or his blood or a mixture of both, he hasn't checked. He smirked and teased her further. "Between you and me, this looks more like a kidnapping than anything else... Did you even check if I'm bleeding?" He raised his hands to feel a sore spot on his head and saw blood on his fingers. It turned his mood sour. This was not how he imagined his escape to be. He inhaled sharply and looked at her with a stern impression on his face. "I was only going to ask if you'd let me use your front door to get out of this place. I came from the apartment upstairs," he explained, rather agitated, "but instead of letting me talk, you decided to smash a bottle on my head, give me a concussion, and tie me up like you're some kind of psychopath." Frustrated, he got up and walked towards a nearby mirror on the wall. Jesus, he looked worse for wear because of this girl. He tried to view his head wound but couldn't. "Probably wasted some good wine too."
