May be a controversial opinion but I don't think we should be shipping cc's (even if it is their characters) if they haven't stated their opinion on it yet, we can't just assume they are fine with it !!

#mc content creators are always in such a weird place for me because people are like ‘noo it’s the characters not the creators’ but are they #not too intertwined to separate? sure fine they Are playing characters in certain scenarios but that’s a character with Their voice and 90%#of Their mannerisms and nine times out of ten Their looks also. it’s not like shipping characters that actors play because there’s much more #removal between the two but with cc vs c you literally have to specify in words and to me that’s automatically too close to rpf. which i #will publicly call bizarre idc 🙁 it’s weird and invasive as hell #ALSO. several ccs have made their stances on these things and just get completely overlooked or eventually pressured into changing their #position on it. with g.em and her shipping boundaries with p.earl she was initially very much against it and yes i suppose you could argue #that she just eventually decided she didn’t care and changed her mind but i think there’s equal argument that pressure from the fanbase and #‘not wanting to cause a scene’ eventually pushed her into changing her mind. like bro genuinely how hard is it to just not be a freak
