for decades, filipino animators and animation studios based in the philippines have been doing the labor behind some of your favorite animated shows and movies while getting paid scraps and receiving none of the recognition. yet the second filipinos get to be the focus instead of a racially ambiguous side character whose ethnicity has to be confirmed on a wiki page, people start whining.
