i haven’t posted here in a while like this but i want to share very exciting news’s i just received!
i have been accepted into a graduate program for museum studies for a graduate level certificate!!! this means i’d be halfway to a masters degree! i am going to begin this fall! and it’s 5 semesters long which means i should hopefully be done in the fall 2027 semester! i currently hope to concentrate in museum education at the moment!

I am wearing Lyonnais silk, encrusted with Indian sapphires, working with overlay of 200-year-old lace. Apparently too much movement can cause the sapphires to shred the lace. If that were not enough, the gown sits atop a bespoke underpinning made of whalebone. The bones of whales. Whales died, so I could look like this.

It's nuts how common it is to not allow children to be angry, even (especially) in households where adults are angry all the time. As a child I knew my own anger was unacceptable--not just expressing it outwardly but feeling it at all. So now as an adult my immediate reaction to my own anger is often to feel guilt instead of like. Noticing when someone is being rude or unfair or my boundaries are being violated or whatever. fucked up.
