Once again this type of photography is very challenging for me and most experienced photographers I talk to. I took this with an #Olympus #omd #em1 and the #olympus40-150f2.8prolens. Shot at ISO 1000 f2.8, 75mm (150mm Full Frame equivalent) and 1/320 shutter. I really had to do a lot of testing to figure out this new cameras abilities. I recommend with any camera you get that you buy a users guide book to help you learn your camera and how to get the most out of it. After 5 years of serious photography I have learned there are no short cuts. I still buy one or two books on every camera I buy as well as read the manual two or three times. And I constantly refer back to them in preparing for every shoot. This is how I learned the fundamentals of photography. These books many times will teach you photography as they also teach you your camera. This is some of the most difficult photography I have done. It really uses every ounce the equipments abilities and offers very little forgiveness for mistakes. Don't stress, just practice, and ask for help. I took this shot with the #Olympus #omd #em1 and the #40-150f2.8pro lens. This is 80-300 full frame equivalent. Shot at 95mm (190mm equiv) f2.8 ISO 1000 and 1/320 shutter speed. I also use Continuous Auto Focus with the center 9 focus points which in this camera are title grouped. I used manual mode as the metering is easily fooled by the stage curtain. And finally I used low burst 6 FPS (frames per second) that uses autofocus for all photos not just the first one. #15secondphotographyschool #photography #dance #ballet #theater.

These had power wirelessly and manually adjusted by the FT16 Remote transmitter in my hotshoe. Focal length at 10.6mm which is about 29mm full frame equivalent. F5, ISO 200, 1/640th shutter.
