deidara makes her selfish. in the semi acceptable way of that, as someone who generally lives to give all to many people in whatever form, she can now take something for herself to indulge in and enjoy. whether it’s literally pushing him about in response to their usual banter and friendship status to telling him, probably, at least maybe almost a handful of times—— that he’s spending the day with her. be it to just have him helping around vaguely or to sit there and bug her should he not even feel like doing that— she’s staked her claim. it’s not 100% forceful though. he always has the choice to rebuff her and leave, she just opts for that stern tone that makes it sound like there’s no room for objection ( she likes to see how different people react; and trust me, the react is actually very varied ).

⭐️ II.

he gives her more of a backbone ( in the sense to make people deal with more than just rueful stinging words when they cross her deeply, because despite how she may react, she is still parts a pushover and pacifist ). and i’d like to maybe assume she makes him halt to be few strands calmer and cunning—  only the sense when he’s fucking with someone in whatever degree to make the victim writhe all the more. his tactics work just fine sure:  but shit dei learn to make them pee their pants verbally and from indistinguishably intimidating facial expressions paired with simple movements like flicking their nose sometimes. also him becoming faintly knowledgeable about medicines ? poisons n such at least ? take that crap man, take it. she’s learned how many different types of explosions and bombs and shit from you already ? too many. she’s 32% fucking pyromaniac now look what you’ve done.

⭐️ III.

as much as takemi detests his ‘ line of work ‘ simply for just the methods taken majority of the time and the effort it requires ( she’s more the type of person who would orchestrate ten entire plans in accordance to one person to slowly lead up to ruining their lives before the final intense moment that ends it:  desires them to suffer long term and in an uncomprehending and barely manageable fashion ). she will tag along and occasionally provide help. probably stops him from getting punched / stabbed a few times on the days he hasn’t gone too far to annoy her or hasn’t ruined part of her work / research ( be it purposefully or accidental, who knows ). then she’ll watch but make sure it’s not fatal in any degree. she is the one who has to patch it up later after all.

⭐️ IV.

honestly they’re like that mini 2D cartoon of the all dressed in white and all dressed in black spy they just live to fuck each other up in varying degrees for like 50% of their friendship and then piss the other off when they manage to deal with it or advert the once-possible crisis. don't let anybody else try it when the other is around though because then that third party is fucking dead.

they buy each other lunch / dinner a lot. take turns getting it if it’s take out. she’ll occasionally, on the rare, attempt to take him out to eat on the instances she feels like footing the whole bill.

hc: current health and work habits.

as it has gotten better over time,  takemi’s immune system is still rather susceptible to sickness and colds. while she no longer gets ill with supreme frequency----  in place of that she now has fits of illness with increasing intensity. once she’s sick: that’s it. and it can last from usually a few days to a little over a week.

now as takemi is clearly one to work so extremely to the point she rarely leaves office to go home or sleep for a few hours------  THIS GREATLY OPENS HER UP TO BECOMING ILL.  from underlying stress to lack of self care, takemi mainly works herself first into pulsing headaches that transition to fevers and can allow her to catch whatever bug is going around with the seasons. it doesn’t stop her though ( until the throbbing of her head and dizziness is incapacitating to a certain point )  and really only serves to make her work harder in order to ignore said symptoms. hence why if you look hard enough certain days, or within the very top drawer of her desk, you’ll find a lot of over the counter cold medicines, cough drops, and vitamins.

i firmly believe that yusuke,  next to the mc / akira ( depending ),  would be one of the people takemi could be the closest to. and that is without trying nor having to compromise much if at all outside of her usual reclusive personality. and i say this because if it had the chance to happen the main standing point of that bond would be:  they both know what it feels like to be used for someone else’s success / gain.  they can. relate ?? and honestly just from her standpoint, he’d be nice to be around. he’s described as ‘ eccentric ‘ and she’s flat out described pretty much as ‘ odd ‘ and like. wow. two odd babs in a pod that can be friends.

she does, for one that doesn’t really eat during or between self dictated shifts simply snacks instead ——  and for one with a sweet tooth ( but yet cannot stand anything overly sweet or what lacks a bittersweet placement ) it was the logical solution. yet, she must hide it was also so conveniently made around the time of a particular walk in child patient who now deems regular appointments in her company.  REGARDLESS  the vague faint sound of glass jar sliding across counter top outside his line of vision gives way; as she passes she so gracefully plops his   desired treasure   into his palms.

&&. she tries to make somewhat of an easy atmosphere with it being akin to something of a little bit of   humor,   enough for lighter breathing.

the smile she offers is empathetic at most, and exceptionally pleasant for once. fingers wag in a half hearted wave----  majority of her job she likes to think, even here and aside from being an extra set of helpful hands, is still medication. she cannot revive:  but she can  PREVENT  in the turn of possessing the favor of time (  or timelessness ).
