Who do you care for most?
Definitely Kat. She’s my roommate, but she’s also my best (and only) friend, I don’t really know what I’d do without her.

Send me a character’s name and my muse will tell how they feel about them
rxbin-anderson:
Three empty coffee cups decorated the table that Robin had claimed as his own. Scattered papers, notebooks and his laptop ruled the table at a local coffee shop. The internet had been cut off again at his apartment and this was the closest place with free wi-fi. It made him look disgustingly pretentious but he didn’t care all that much. He had a dead-line to meet and an editor that would wring his neck if he didn’t finish up this chapter. Unfortunately, it had been twenty four hours since he had last slept and his brain was fried. He held his fourth coffee in one hand, struggling to find the right words. “Hey, Hey - yeah you.” He waved the other hand to gain the attention of someone sitting at another table. “Give me a synonym for unlikable.”
Scout looked up from her table as the man spoke, barely skipping a beat before she began her answer. “Um, unappealing, unpleasant, obnoxious, cantankerous...” She paused, “Do you need more?”
roryxmulligan:
The New York streets were bustling with morning commuters, those in a hurry to get their coffee and get to work and Rory was there just watching from a bench, trying to pick out an unsuspecting person from the crowd to steal from. She barely had a need to steal anymore, not now that she was living with Xavier who could pretty easily persuade people to give them things for free, but she still did it. Part of it was out of habit, another out of fear that she might end up alone again to fend for herself.
She spotted someone in the crowd who seemed distracted. Perfect. She shot through the crowd, running with a false sense of urgency, colliding with her target. She let her hand go through them as she did, finding a wallet and carefully extended her intangibility to it. She quickly pocketed it before turning around. “I am so sorry! Just in a rush, y’know.” The apology was half-assed, but she had already done what she needed to do and started to walk away with a satisfied smirk.
Scout was leaving the office of one of the papers she was working for, having been given her assignments for the next issue. Nothing too exciting, busy work more than anything else. She was making her way down the street when she watched two people collide in front of her, and she could’ve sworn she saw one of the girls’ hands disappear into the other woman momentarily. That should be impossible, but then again Scout could transform herself into any one of the people on this street, so it didn’t seem that weird. She stopped walking, frowning at the girl as the other woman walked away. “Did you just rob her?”
rllyxavier:
“Who is qualified these days?” Xavier commented, looking up at the sky, frowning slightly. Everyone scammed and lied their way into jobs, he wondered why people even still bothered going to university. “Sounds cool, though. Do they pay you to travel around the world? Because then I might look into it as well.”
“Nope.” Scout laughed, shaking her head, “Furthest I’ve ever been is the other side of the country, if I’m honest. And that was for another job, anyway.” She bit her lip, not wanting to give away too many details about her past. This was a relative stranger, after all.

Abandoned buildings, vines slithering between decade-old bricks and shoddy cement, absolutely fascinated Mason. It was born out of marathoning one too much television, but wonder always seemed to pull him in. With a serious resolve, he carefully glazed over the photo once more. “Hmm, okay,” he said absently, knitting his eyebrows together before. “What was the research for? Curious to know.” Even if the information was particularly useful, Mason did like knowing the truth - or at least enough to make it out. “It’s here in the city? It’d be cool to investigate.”
“I can’t stand not knowing things.” Scout admitted, “It bothered me that nobody knew what it was for, so I wanted to find out.” Though that wasn’t entirely the reason, she supposed it wasn’t exactly a lie, either. “Yeah, I could, um, I could show you. I think I remember where it is.”
ozisnotawizard:
He felt self-conscious, but that wasn’t really unusual. “Are you s-sure?” He looked up, smiling nervously, noticing the camera that she held. “Oh… are you a ph-photographer? That’s a r-really nice camera.” He had tried his hand at photography once or twice, but nothing ever came out the way he wanted.
“Yeah, I mean, it’s a public bench.” Scout shrugged. “Thanks.” She grinned, looking down at her camera. “Yeah, I am. So if you need anyone who needs some photos taken, I could use the money.” She laughed.
bewitched-kat:
“You got that right, even I won’t use my power for that. We’ll live in a tent if we have to, at least we wouldn’t have to worry about rent.” She laughed at the thought, knowing that Scout would be the only person she’d ever consider living in a tent with or killing a bug for.
“We can go all hippie and live among nature.” Scout gigged, “Then again, I don’t think that would solve our bug problem. Might even make it worse.”
Ask my muse extremely personal questions.
bewitched-kat:
“Thanks Scout, I’ll keep that in mind.” Even so, Katherine would never wake Scout of her sleep unless absolutely necessary. “Same here, though if it’s to kill a huge bug I might not be able to help much.” She joked, wanting to keep the mood light.
“If there’s a huge bug, we’re moving out.” Scout laughed. “We’ll just have to accept the apartment belongs to the new bug overlord.”
ironclxdalibi:
Mason’s fingers began to shake as he held the camera, deliberating over the buttons and tapping them lightly - he’d always fear he’d break something and land himself in hot water. But he kept his grip firm and unwavering, scrolling through the camera roll.
Though there wasn’t anything that struck him with a dropped jaw - that’s solid evidence of that crime! - Mason found the quality of photos rather inspiring. “Can you tell me about this one,” he said, pausing on a photo and showing it to her.
Scout tried not to hover too much, but eyed each photograph Mason looked at, smiling at some of them herself, pictures of better times, she supposed. Happier memories. That’s why she kept the old camera, after all, it was from a time before her life was a mess. Pausing briefly, she looked over the photo, trying to recall exactly when it was from. “Oh- that’s this freaky old building. It’s completely boarded up, and nobody could tell me what was inside. So I took some photos of it, y’know, for research. Guess I never got around to the actual research bit.” She shrugged. She’d had hope that the building had something to do with her parents, but it turned out to be just another useless lead after she broke in and found nothing.
samsisms:
The question had struck a nerve with them, their otherwise playful attitude falling with their expression as they looked away. When they had known each other better, it would have been rather uncommon to find Sam alone. Not without their friends lingering somewhere close, watching to make sure they were alright. “Just me.” Sam whispered back, shrugging softly as their eyes trailed the ground. Although it’d been some time since the group had parted ways, Sam was still unused to being left alone. “What about you? How’s life treating you?” They asked, though their tone had become dull - their eyes remaining on the pavement.
“Oh, sorry.” Scout muttered, immediately feeling an unsolicited pang of guilt. She noticed the change in their demeanour immediately, after knowing someone for so long, even she was able to pick up on things like that. She knew how it felt to be alone, and was genuinely sorry that Sammy seemed to have lost their friends. “Fine.” She shrugged, not divulging too much information quickly, “I live in New York now, but I guess you knew that.”
rllyxavier:
Xavier took the extended hand and shook it, a playful grin still on his face. “Scout.” He repeated, just like she had with his name. “Soooo… You’re a photographer, or is it more like a hobby?”
“Well, I’m not exactly qualified to do much else, so photographer it is.” She shook her head, “I mean, yes, I am a photographer.”
carloscrossed:
The woman showed a little attitude, with her quirked brow. He couldn’t help but smirk at her reactions. He sipped at his own drink, leaning back as he watched her body language. “Hmm, I would but I feel like maybe you’re the kind of person to laugh at cheesy lines. And I don’t think my ego could take it.”
Scout chuckled, “It’s like you already know me. And I’m sure your ego would be fine.”
ozisnotawizard:
Oscar had been holed up inside all day. While he loved nothing more than being surrounded by technology that he could easily control it became stifling quickly, especially considering that he had the eyes of ASH agents on him at all times. He hated it but he couldn’t get out, not yet, not while his family was at risk. The most he could do was take a break outside, at least until the work day was over. He hadn’t really been looking when he sat down, nearly bumping into someone. “O-oh… I’m sorry… I, uh… there a-aren’t really any other se-seats.” He stammered, looking down at his feet in embarrassment, “I can g-go, if you w-want.”
Scout laughed as the man stuttered about himself, shaking her head. “You’re, um, you’re good, buddy. I don’t mind the company.”
bewitched-kat:
“It’ll be our goofy faces as the picture.” She smiled at the thought. “I’m okay I just…I had some bad dreams again and I needed to think, I didn’t want to wake or bother you.”
“I don’t mind if you wake me.” Scout told her sincerely, “At any time, I’m happy to talk.”

The girls laugh caused him to smile, even if it wasn’t as bright as before. “You could definitely say that, ma'am.” Jeremy suppressed a yawn. “Central park is so much bigger than I expected it to be.” He smiled at the sky before he smiled at the girl. “Oh my goodness, excuse me for my lack of manners. My name is Jeremy Rockefeller. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He stretched out his arm for a handshake while smiling politely.
“You new around here?” Scout asked, noticing that he seemed unfamiliar with the park. “Scout Watson.” She grinned, shaking his hand.
