Hello! I'm Annalise Sunderland. I'm currently working to complete my Ph.D. Today I complete onboarding to join the internship program at the SCP Foundation!
As part of the mandatory psych eval, Dr. Glass suggested I start documenting my experience in the form of a blog. He said that the majority of interns "experience psychological hardship" and writing it out can help. So, I guess for the duration of my time here I'll be updating almost every day!
I'll be working in the Division of Training and Development under the department head, Dr. Alto Clef. A lot of the researchers kept giving me looks during orientation, so I guess he's a hard-ass or something.
I'll be working out of Site-17; even though a lot of the training I'll be working on is for Site-19. I, however, am disabled so for safety reasons, I'm staying at a safer site. Hope you all like my icon. thought it was fitting! I use a wheelchair on my bad days and a cane or walker on my good ones.
I guess that's it for now. It's technically tomorrow already and I start my assignment tomorrow so I should sleep some. I'll be meeting the department head tomorrow too. I guess I'll update then. Bye!
