Eyes kept glancing to the side as Sho sat silently, a frown hard on his lips. He didn’t like this seat at all: it was a bit too visible to anyone who passed, a bit too open a space.
It was, however, directly next to a seat that was much more hidden by a small dividing wall, making the space smaller and more comfortable in general. That was where Sho preferred to sit, and where he kept looking to.
Or, more accurately, the girl sitting in his favorite spot. And, despite the fact that she seemed had nothing to do with him, he was angry enough about the place being taken that he couldn’t help but glare at her periodically.
Subtlety was not one of his strong suits.
She prefers to be out of sight, out of mind. People are a bother she has little interest in dealing with. There’s no question about where she’s chosen to sit, while working on homework. The less distraction and the less approachable she seems, the better.
Or so she thought, until someone took the spot right next to hers. Harukawa chooses to ignore his presence. Ignoring people never works, she knows this. Instead, she finds it tends to only egg them on, much to her annoyance. Studying begins to slip as he glares at her from time to time.
Eventually, his glare’s met with an irritable one of her own.
“What the hell is your problem?” she asks, hostility coating her tone. As far as she’s concerned, she’s never even seen him before today. She can’t pinpoint whatever his issue might be with her. And that sets her on edge.
