Back in London and tired out from all that food. Until next time!
Brooklyn flea market - Pepperoni pizza and Vietnamese summer rolls W - One of the best flea markets I've been too, plus all the food stalls looked so good. Lots of good finds and lots of tasty treats, the best way to spend our last day in NY! - C
Ya big softyyyy
Alls well, Williamsburg - Blue berry pancakes and avocado on toast with eggs and radicchio Didn't know what radicchio was but went for it anyways.. Mmm - C W - Kept it simple for the last breakfast and had this big guy, pretty great to say the least.
Mission Cantina, Brooklyn - blue crab tortillas, fish taco, burger and waffle fries W - I was surprised at the small menu but we what got was pretty buff, the restaurant its self felt kinda gimmicky but fun all the same. Mission can-can-can-canihavesomemoreplease :p - C
Thumbs up for Van Leeuwen!
Coffee and peanut butter Vegan ice cream from Van Leevan
The creamiest none-creamy thing I have ever tasted - C
W - This place was recommended to us by my dairy-free family in Bermuda, the peanut butter vegan ice vegan was too good. 10/10, would go again
Tortillas - Lower Manhattan
A cheeky mid day snack.. Why not! - C
W - Mmm mini taco what up little guy.
Din sum from Jin Fong in China town NY
A massive garish conference hall where angry Chinese waitresses give you ALL the dim sum. A surreal but tasty experience! - C
W - Super hanging + people bringing you tasty food, perfect combination.
Joes pizza - Williamsburg
Nothing like a slice of peetz to end a night out. The spinach one was particularly good - C
W - Kushty Joe, that was mint.
Mission Chinese NY - spicy peanut noodles, salt fish fried rice, egg rolls, lemon fried chicken and broccoli leafs and beef brisket. I've been dreaming about mission Chinese since our visit to SF. The NY restaurant has different vibes but the food is just as good! My highlight was the fried rice, how can rice taste that goooood?! - C W - just as good as its San Francisco brother, but as we were with friends we got to try a whole load more of the menu. My favourite was the pork cheek & beets.
Pizza at Roberta’s Brooklyn
Everyone I spoke to recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Bravo Roberta, bravo - C
W - near perfect, fair play Roberta.
Lincoln station - Roasted broccoli/ ricotta sandwich and a kale, pulled chicken and Parmesan salad.
W - big fan of roasted broccoli but never thought to put it in a sandwich, bit of lemon, pine nuts on top - too good.
I’m not usually too keen on raw kale salads but this one was on point. Nice one Abraham - C
Chicken and waffles at Sweet Chick, Williamsburg Seemed like a good idea at the time, but this chick was a little too sweet for me - C W - note to self don't eat this before bed, my belly was freaking out.
First Bermuda, now New York! (With Jack, Georgie and Ruth)
Earth salad with King prawns, Spicy fish sandwich on raisin bread, Tuckers Point Bermuda. W - spicy fish on raisin bread, yeah buddy! A perfect lunch to compliment a perfect day on the beach - C
Wahoo fish taco, Rock fish with rice n peas - Wahoo in George Town Rock fish rocks!!! - C W - the taco's were the one, but the rock fish was way tastier and the texture was too good.
