Artwork for the flyer for my in-game rave, Dragonstomp! My first ever drawing with a tablet monitor—what a neat tool! Much easier to use than my giant cumbersome intuos3. This drawing was pretty challenging both due to the exaggerated pose meant to simulate a fisheye lens and also because WoW’s character designs have become progressively more intricate. I combined elements of their existing designs with some old school rave flair: a tie-dye shirt and bucket hat for a groover Alexstrasza, and a Cyberdog shrug over a crop top for a crasher kid Ysera. I also spent a little too long designing the kandi, forgetting that it would be about 30 pixels high and half-obscured by the end. The party went off and my DJ set went better than I expected for the two hours of sleep I was running on. Well, it just ain’t a rave without a little insomnia!

Hourly Comics Day 2022! Uneventful and a day late, but a much more enjoyable one than the previous two years.

Inktober Day ? I’ve already fallen quite behind so I figured I should draw something regardless of whether or not it fit the prompt. I noticed on my current prompt list that “Ghost” is listed twice, so consider this a free space. 

Gretchen Dedmar’s quest “The Chill of Death” has always stuck with me: a Forsaken woman succumbing to mindlessness requests duskbat pelts so that she can sew a final bodybag—her own. She is one of the first citizens you meet as a new Forsaken player, and her predicament perfectly sets the tone of the tragedy of their existence.

Inktober Day 1: Fangs

Basically picking up from where I left off a few years back with a night warrior Tyrande. Nothing like a good art challenge to remind me how old and crusty me and my art supplies have gotten.

hourly comics day 2020. the panel missing a drawing is probably why i neglected to upload it last year. as far as i know, my neurological problems are not MS nor degenerative. im just glad i got all my hospital visits in before the pandemic began. i also did end up changing my draenei to a kul tiran.

i really enjoy your art, even though i dont really draw much anymore except for doodling in class, i really aspire to have a distinct art style like yours! its just so much fun to look at, theres so much movement even when its a still picture and i just! wow! i love it!

Thank you dear. I will try to draw more soon. I fell off the wagon right out of the gate this inktober but I’m hoping once I start getting treatment I’ll be able to be more dedicated.
