Imagine calling over Beef in the office. Staring at your computer, not looking away, snapping your fingers, and saying "here boy" in a slightly pitched up voice. Instead of Beef, Herm walks up and asks what you needed.
I sigh as I sit up straight in my chair. My back ached and I immediately slouched down again. There weren't any calls at the moment, so I reached into the box of Scooby Snacks™ on my desk. I munched on one of them when I heard the tell-tale sound of a dog collar jingling.
"Tsktsktsktsktsk!" I grabbed another and reached my hand down so Beef could grab it. I didn't look away from my computer. "Come here, boy!" I called out in a baby voice.
Instead of the expected trot of a fat chihuahua, was a pair of footsteps.
"Y-Yea- Yes?" Someone spoke.
I turned in my chair and looked up at Waterboy in confusion. We stared at each other in awkward silence until I noticed him eyeing the Scooby Snack™. "Do you want some?" I asked him.
"If you- You're offering, rr-right? Yes?" He tilted his head to the side, "Ma- Can I have one? Please?"
I resisted the urge to tell him to bark for me. I motioned for him to cup his hands and I poured some onto them.
He then proceeded to make a happy noise like how a dog would. "T-thanks! Thank you!" Waterboy said as he then munched on one.
"You're welcome." I smiled and then gasped, "It's my baby boy!!!" The baby voice has returned.
The wonderful fat chihuahua himself has graced us with his presence. Beef walked into my cubicle and sat at my feet, looking up at me. As I gave him a treat, Waterboy seemed to have connected the dots.
"O-oh..." He blushed, "Y-You were ca-beckon? Calling fff-for Beef? N-not me?" He asked. His Scooby Snacks™ slowly turning into mush in his hands.
"Do people usually treat you like a dog?" I asked concerned.
"yeah." Waterboy responded sadly.
It always baffles me how tall waterboy is. Like dam boy...my neck be hurting for so many reasons because of you
