So yeah, like most users I guess I just got that email from Redbubble saying they’re going to start charging a fee on each sale you make. About 40-50% of what you take home after they’ve already taken all the other charges and fees.

So that £3 ish you make from a £40 hoodie, yeah, that’ll be about £1.55 in future.

Fuck ‘em.

Legend of Vox Machina was gross, over the top and most of the characters were assholes.

So I finally saw Spider-Man No Way Home...

Well, it’s a much stronger film than the last two Holland-spidey turds. But nearly all of the heavy lifting is done by older better films, with better Spider-Men, better villains and better writing.

Nearly all of the good bits are “Hey, remember this from that film you liked?” Which, yeah, I liked seeing those characters played by those actors again, but it just shows how weak this series is on its own.

Fuckin’ ‘ell it’s been ages since I’ve posted anything here. I pretty much forgot all about it.

Probably won’t post much going forward either.

Warframe UI

Just updated my copy of Warframe.

Normally I try to be positive about game updates, and I’ll try that with this one.

I’m positive the new console UI FUCKING SUCKS.

Removing single button short cuts and making you use that slow-ass fucking cursor for everything makes gear management and customisation so much slower. As for dragging and dropping mods rather than a couple of clocks to place them...

Holy shit, last night’s hotfix fixed most of the problems, that was fast. The shortcut buttons are back, and whilst not as quick as before modding is better. I am impressed with how fast DE reacted to fan bitching.

Destiny 2: Year 2

So, the preview of Destiny 2: Foreskin Forsaken just happened. Looks kinda interesting, but that price point and an additional fucking pass. I’ll wait for a sale if I touch it at all.

Crew 2 Beta

The Crew 2.... It's The Crew, too. Pretty much the first game but expanded a bit. They ditched the stupid "Fast and Furious" revenge angsty type plot, which is for the best... but did replace it with XTREEM SPORT douches (kinda like Steep), meh, I guess they fit better.

If you like the first one, you’ll like this.

Unready Player One

I decided to check out Ready Player One to see what all the hype was about. I’m about a chapter and a half in and wanted to jot down some thoughts.

The setting seems familiar, in a “the author read Snow Crash and decided to just rip it off” kind of way.

The main character also seems like something I’ve encountered before. Oh yeah, every edgy redditor on r/games.

The references... oh for fuck’s sake. Do you remember this 80′s reference? Do you remember this one? What about this one? And this one? YES, I lived through the 80s, I fucking remember them as does your entire target audience, now stop fucking pandering by just listing things and write them into the plot properly.

Oh... and the writing... it makes Dan Brown look like Tolkien. Clunky is such and inadequate term for the prose.

This is gonna be a hate read for sure.
