♡ happy birthday taylor! 12.13.89 ♡
may god grant me the serenity to accept that there will be bad faith interpretations of taylor's every move everywhere I look, the courage not to interact with bad faith interpretations of taylor's every move, and the wisdom to recognize what are bad faith interpretations of taylor's every move
♡ taylor swift 1989 era ♡

THE END OF AN ERA | EPISODES 3 & 4
Darling, I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream.
still so weird that she added ttpd to the tour. girl you already had a MASSIVE thing going why shove your messy breakup/situationship in the middle of the tour
glad they addressed Vienna in the first episode
“it’s like woodstock but without the drugs” i’m high and 11 minutes into the documentary lol
crossposted from reddit bc i can do what i want
Between TTPD and TLOAS there are 43 songs and I’ve thought about rearranging them into 3 albums. TTPD is the depressing messy (Joe/Matty) breakup album, TLOAS is the Showgirl album I expected (with Travis), and then the leftovers album lol. Songs aren't really in a particular order.

Any song not mentioned can go on a third album called The Leftovers (title a work in progress 😂)
Also in my alternate universe, TTPD comes out a few months after the Eras tour ends. TLOAS comes out a year later with the docuseries. Or swap them to keep riding the high of the Eras tour then get depressed after the hype dies down. The Leftovers comes out at least 18 months after that.
fearless is one of the best title tracks of all time and i will die on this hill
Ruby Rose thank you for your service 🫡🫡🫡
Benjamin stuns for “The Eras Tour | The End of an Era” docuseries.(October 13, 2025)
taylor swift turns me into the most radioactive obnoxious person on earth because these days i'm too much of a hater to deal with swifties who will always love and apologise for everything she does and aren't willing to engage with her art critically but i'm also too much of a swiftie to deal with all the people who hate her for the love of the game without actually having any knowledge of her work beyond the hits and for that reason are ALSO not actually engaging with her art critically. like yes tloas is bad but i don't want to hear about how this is par for the course for taylor swift or whatever from a person who has never actually taken her seriously as an artist. you people don't know anything you haven't even heard treacherous.
Taylor gently saying hey if you miss a certain vibe or sound, you can go listen to that album
she’s gentle parenting us (but also, she’s right! and she isn’t snooty about it at all. she knows showgirl will be there for people if and when they’re ready for it—and if that time never comes, that’s fine too, because she has tons of other music. this is a normal way to approach an artist’s catalogue tbh and i think she’d like to reset expectations a bit)
I miss when people could be normal about music
