such a sleepy baby.
Has anyone else seen the Backrooms movie yet? I just saw it today and I am v i b r a t i n g from how much I loved it
Heyo! haven't seen you post in a while. Do you have any good body horror movies to recommend us dear audience?
Oh hey dude, uhhhhhhh lemme see what I can get you
Im personally not a big body horror fan imo? Im a slasher person lol, i love campy stuff
I watched I Saw the TV Glow recently which kinda has body horror?? It'd be kinda a spoiler to explain why, but it's technically more existential horror and psychological horror (why I also really like tbh), but it's extremely sad and focuses on transitioning and gender dysphoria. I def recommend it, it made me almost cry
Obviously there's also The Thing (the ORIGINAL) which is like the og body horror. It's like a creature joins a team of scientists but none of the scientists know which is the creature thing bc it can shape shift. Inspo for Among Us if that's your thing
Weapons, another recent movie, also kinda has body horror? It's more supernatural stuff but has some good gore that I really liked. Heraditary also technically counts in this category
OH OH THE SUBSTANCE. Another recent movie but I can confidently say it IS body horror. Kinda reminded me of Severance in the terms of how the plot works, but focuses more on ageism and the modeling industry. REALLY good movie, Dead Meat did a kill count on it. It's essentially a model is able to use this substance to make her young again, but only certain amounts of time, and can cause her regular older body to deteriorate if she pushes it too much
Get Out is also a good one I LOVE JORDAN PEELE MOVIES, this one is not big on like gore or anything but focuses on systemic racism, cultural appropriation, and white liberalism. I saw a Tiktok edit of this movie to Under My Skin by Jukebox Ghost and it made me want to rewatch it again. That's all Im saying on it without spoilers
If you're wanting something more like zombie horror though, there's always Zombieland, 28 Days Later (and 28 Years Later which I watched when it came out and i genuinely really liked), and Train to Busan
And there's also always the other classics The Fly and Re-Animator but I have not personally watched those lol
Anyway, enjoy!! Sorry if this wasn't exactly what you were looking for
SCREAM 7 TRAILER IS OUT, I REPEAT SCREAM 7 TRAILER IS OUT
New second favorite sodaaaaaaa
Okay but with the other Fanta flavors they did, I really think Freddy Fazbear and Michael Meyers should've swapped, like Freddy could've been pineapple for pineapple pizza, and Michael could've been orange for Halloween but hey that's just me
Hello Sam Winchester, what are you doing in my 2000s horror movie
Ok FINALLY watched Weapons
Oh my god I was already so hyped for this movie bc of the advertising, and I loved even more now
Not gonna spoil it too much but it did give me IT vibes, I loved it!! Only character I was really rooting for was probably Alex, but I think that was purposeful, the other characters were meant to be complicated and flawed which I did enjoy!!
Definitely gonna give it a rewatch someday soon
Watched the new I Know What You Did Last Summer
Idk how to feel abt it :((( Like it wasn't bad, I just have never been the biggest fan of the franchise, but thats ok
Loved Danika and Ava though, fully was convinced the movie might do a switch-a-roo and have them get together but thats fine, they're besties
posting this as a stand alone because i think im funny
Formidable Chef (fanfic, 131 WC)
Bernie and Winnie stand in a cozy kitchen on a crisp spring evening. The air is filled with the aroma of Winnie's homemade pasta, a skill she's been perfecting.
Bernie, tall and lanky, strides over and wraps her arms around Winnie's waist, her chin resting on her shoulder as she watches the cooking process with admiration.
"You're a formidable chef, Win. This looks amazing," Bernie whispers, her breath tickling Winnie's neck, causing her to giggle.
"Just wait till you taste it," Winnie promises, her freckles dancing as she smiles.
She turns around, sliding her arms over Bernie's, leaning up to steal a quick kiss.
"I'm already impressed," Bernie murmurs, her grey eyes sparkling with affection.
The kitchen glows with the warmth of their love, a wonderful haven from the world outside.

Happy birthday to me guys 🎂🎉
God sorry yall i was having a rough night yesterday. Back to our regularly scheduled program!!
I don't understand why I can't be seen. My family keeps asking and asking and asking why can't I be normal. They ask when they can have their daughter back. They ask why I can't be human. Why I can't emote properly. Why I don't talk to them anymore.
I'm not sure how to tell them there's nothing I can do. The damage is done. They broke their beautiful child long ago, destroyed them until they were past recognition. They couldn't understand that what they saw as alien was just their flaws repeated back at them. A mirror. I was just finally able to hold it up once I was old enough.
I wonder if they regret it. I doubt it but I wonder if it's possible.
