When they saw the images, they backed out, presumably bc Bezos doesn't want to piss off the Trump administration.

Donald trump has, in less than a decade, split the Republican Party into two factions: those who are willing to recognize, fear, and object to what the party has become, and those who are hell bent on embracing it with zealous extremism.
The Republican Party is dying a slow, painful death at the hands of Donald trump. And this is just one step closer to its burial.
I disagree, only because I haven't seen Republicans push back very much against that second group. It's more like the zealous extremists and the ones who aren't that but aren't interested in stopping them at all. They aren't willing to recognize and criticize because they all still think that if they get on the feral hog's back, they'll be the one to finally be able tame it.
Like, once Trump is the official nominee, watch how quickly they all fall in like behind the extremists. Kevin McCarthy himself will be out campaigning for him.

Republicans are the minority in this country. MAGA republicans are an even smaller minority. Throwing themselves further off the deep end into MAGA republicanism will only dig the partyās grave deeper. Thatās what brought us to today. Thatās what has alienated their voters. Thatās what cost them 2018, 2020, and 2022.
Backing trump doesnāt do them any favors, it handicaps them. Severely. He an un-electable, 4 times indicted, 91 times charged, court proven fraud and tax evader who has fractured the party and is intent on driving the wedge deeper and deeper to fulfill his own narcissistic desires
Ditching him throws the party into complete chaos, because heās all theyāve got.
Itās a cluster fuck of a lose-lose situation for the Republican Party, and itās all at the hands of one man: Donald trump

I see so much commentary in the tags about how Trump canāt be a Nazi because heās pro-Israel, and Iām sitting here like, guys. Children. Nazi doesnāt meanĀ ākills Jews.ā That was the horrible outcome. The ideology itself was putting oneās own nation above all else (ring a bell?) while undermining democratic values (RING A BELL?) and being blatantly racist (RING Aā¦ you know what, forget it, youāre not listening to me anyway).Ā
Instead of anti-communism you now have fierce pro-capitalism and instead of Jewish people being called animals you now have immigrants facing the same hatred. You already have the denunciations and people walking from door to door trying to root outĀ āillegals.ā
Current US politics may not involve any gas chambers, but Hitler didnāt burst on the political scene withĀ āLetās kill all the Jews!ā either. If you honestly think US policies wonāt escalate further, especially if Trump gets a second term, youāre standing chin-deep in denial.

This is one of those things that I already knew was true, but seeing it so blatantly displayed makes me feel like like I am finding out about it for the first time.
CIA is getting lazy
āItās just a script whats the problem lolā the problem is that Fox, CNN, CBS, and all the other channels repped here, despite claiming to be different companies with different viewpoints, all had the exact same script, word for word, to push the exact same viewpoint that smaller, independent news outlets are Fake News and āA Threat To Our Democracy.ā The fact that they have scripts isnāt the problem. The problem is they all, each and every one, have the exact same script down to the letter and in some cases the fucking inflection, which basically reads āsmall news stations are untrustworthy and a Threat to your Way Of Life, only trust Us, We Are Verified.ā
All of the stations seen here are owned by a company called the Sinclair Broadcasting Group. The CEO of the company sent this script to every single one of the news stations they owned and demanded these videos be made orĀ āfirings will occur.ā My father works for one such station, and the anchors who did the read were NOT HAPPY. The only reason they did what was asked was because their jobs were on the line.
Itās not the stations; itās the company that owns them.
