These aren't the first fanfictions I've written, but they are the first Hermitcraft *and* AO3 fics I've written!

Hi, sorry this is the same person who sent the last ask about the bad ending, but you’re response made me fairly sure that X doesn’t call Mumbo to tell him until the next day! Is Mumbo upset with X for waiting so long to tell him? How much is he actually told about the situation over the phone? (If you don’t want me bombarding you with niche questions like this I can absolutely stop!)

I did miss that, but I think Xisuma would have told Mumbo extremely early the next morning once he sort of collected himself.

Mumbo’s not exactly upset by how long Xisuma took to tell him - it hadn't even really been 12 hours, and I think Mumbo would logically understand there was a lot going on, but he would have demanded answers between gasping sobs. Xisuma would have told him aboht the baby and the haemorrhage, and then promise to let Mumbo back on the server as soon as he was ready.

Then Mumbo would have been sobbing for a good hour or two coming to terms with his best friend being dead before gathering the strength to get up and start his journey home 😭

There’s two ideas that have stocked in my head ever since I’ve read the alternative universe fics, though I’m not to sure if they’d count for it.

What would have happened if Grian accepted the offer the be pack leader of evo?

And I’m not to sure how to work but with the whole Grian dies, Poppy lives, Grian lives Poppy dies or they both die. What would happened in a universe where scar died?

Wtewyne is amazing my phone autocorrects it now and it’s the sole reason I no longer dislike fankids

Ooo I don't know if I've ever considered what would happen if Grian accepted being a pack leader yet. Cause in my head he was always just "nope" in every scenario lol. But if he were to accept, i think it would have been even more chaotic when he was taken by the Watchers. His pack would have been so lost and panicked, and I think I could see maybe Pearl taking charge in his steed. But once he's returned, he would have been even more protective of his pack and found a new world to seclude them all on....until a couple years later when he and a few other unsuspecting players get yoinked for the first game 👀

As for Scar dying in the bad ending; I can't really see a world with only him just dying spontaneously 😂😭 but if it was a case of following Grian/Grian and Poppy....yeah not so great 😭 i do have those endings planned to write, but they'll be rather *Heavy* chapters dealing with very sensitive topics surrounding death 😭

So glad you've been loving wtewyne! Its also the first thing that pops up for word suggestions for me when I hit W 😂

In the bad ending, how long after Grian’s death does X realize what the glitch was?

Xisuma would learn later that night.

His priority after Grian’s death is tending to his heartbroken Hermits, and he feels like he can't break down yet, much like in the canon where Grian still survives.

After settling everyone to the best of his abilities, he makes sure everyone goes home. Or at least goes somewhere other than the bridge; feeling a bit worried about Scar’s own state if he realises theres a crowd outside. Then he leads Keralis home, still carefully carrying the newborn. Then he briefly leaves the sever for emergency formula and baby supplies to care for the infant.

Once he knows the baby is fed and comfortable, and he knows Keralis is okay to look after her even in grief, that's when he finally spends all night trying to figure out what went wrong.

When it clicks for him it was the player breeding settings, he breaks down completely and just bawls for a long time.

Not yet exactly. All they know is that player breeding was meant to be off, so Poppy shouldn't have been possible. *Why* she happened is still a mystery, but not one Grian or Scar are particularly concerned about because they love her so much and now they have her they can't fathom ever not having her 🥺

Do you plan to write a pov from Zedaph abt the birth btw? Because I'll admit I am desperate to know what was going through his head during all that. I don't want this to come off as me pressuring though, if you're not planning it, totally understandable. However, if you wanna talk abt it a little here- 👉👈

I do definitely want to write that! I've been tossing up between doing him or Keralis next, but I think I might push Zedaph up because Keralis amd Xisuma’s POVs are tied rather close together and it's more so an insight into his thoughts rather than his experience.

Zedaph's POV will probably be the most graphic of the POVs I fear 😭 but when I do get around to writing him I'll tag TWs appropriately. But yeah Zed will be going through it 😭

I actively gaped at that because for over a year now I have been considering writing that as a fanfic of your fanfic (although it was heavily focused on Cub).

I really want to write the alternate ending fic where Grian and Scar learn about Poppy after the incident of the Kings Games and I intend to make that a long fic from start all the way to the birth aftermath.

Another one I really want to do after I finish Limited Life is actually a "What If: Poppy was born on her due date?" Meaning she'd be born in Limited Life and I have so much in mind for that I really wanna write. I think that will be a *long* oneshot.

And finally I think another I really wanna write is Mumbo coming home early, and he and Cub work together to shove Grian and Scar in a 1x2 hole and force them to talk 😂😭

I have this scene in my head where scar is laying on grians lap with his face resting on his stomach while grian reads, the lamp the light ans all so cute and then poppy comes in faintly sobbing. whetehr it’s a bad dream or not.. it’s just a very cute scene i made in my head.

See. Back when I was drafting WTEWYNE, I already had the kids mostly planned out for future fun, and I had my lil'cast of 8 kids. And I thought "hmm, yeah that feels a manageable amount" for myself, cause I didn't really expect WTE to pop off.

And then because of that I really underestimated the desire for MORE babies in this world 😂😭 And its moments like these i regret writing Quest for Username cause things feel so solid to me after that 😭

Maybe if I see it fitting I could have Ren and Doc adopt another 🥺

Yes I think in this AU Jimmy absolutely does have two hands that can be held 🤝 And all 3 deserve all the love 🤝

And Carlos can still exist in this AU! Scott did it as a favour to help his friend, and I know he would still do it ! (I don't know if that's the right word, 'favour' feels trivial, when really this is the second baby that Sausage always wanted and lets him experience properly rather than the fast-forward nature of Hermes' existence 😭)
