So I loved the first Astera Cupid doll. I know a lot didn't, but I really liked the conversation heart aesthetic.

I'm not very picky with dolls, I'm very easy to please. Like I can count on one hand the number of doll outfits I disliked. However...

Uh...Mattel, what's going on with this??? I know this is a mix and match set, but not a single piece here matches. Like why is her suitcase gold and white, and NOTHING else is??? Why is her carry case bRIGHT CHERRY RED?? NOTHING ELSE IS! I like the actual doll, her subtle make up and hair is really cute. But that outfit is...w h a t???

I might actually do a redesign of this doll. I've never done that. This design just utterly floors me.

(aLSO...girl. You're gonna get cold at this cabin??? like pants maybe?? a sweater perhaps??)

But they'd at least match in her case #meanwhile the Clawdeen doll is PERFECTION. like she's gorgeous #her carry case being a different shade of purple from the ones in her outfit bugs me a bit. but that's being nitpicky at that point #also...i know she also doesn't have pants. I'm sure someone has already pointed it out, but these;

are LOADS better than the previous garden gate thingies. Don't get me wrong, I wish the front and back had a plastic backing so they were a bit sturdier, and I HAAAAATE that the dolls are clipped into the cardboard displays. (The back of my cases look like there was a doll shooting) BUT, these actually can be used for MANY other things. I can use them to hold pencils, stickers, jewelry, anything really. They can also be used to carry the doll, and the decorated insides make a good doll display. Like LOOK at that detail!!;

Like these are just so much better that these;

Mattel, please don't do this kind of stuff again. Like I'd rather have a cardboard box with no details than these things. Either give us multipurpose containers, or no container at all. We didn't need these.
