Ok I just watched the TADC finale in theaters, and I will try to keep things as vague as I can. If you wanna avoid anything close to hints of what's to come, feel free to scroll away

I get why a lot of people were dissatisfied or disappointed with the ending, but honestly, I may have to disagree with them

Personally, I loved it. It was the only way for me that it could have gone. You can really feel the love that everyone put into it, and it made me, someone who never cries during movies, ugly cry so hard that the other rows looked concerned.

Was it perfect? No. But nothing is. I was a tad disappointed at how a character arc was handled, but I know why they chose that path and it adds a level of tragedy to the arc that really puts you in the feels.

I laughed, I sobbed, I was confused, but that's how it should be. I'm so excited to rewatch it again for it's premiere on YouTube in a few weeks

And to everyone who's been avoiding the leaks just to see it as intended and completely blind, it's worth it. So, so worth it. Keep pushing on.

Gonna post the design notes(ish)/commentary below if you wanna look at them

Charlie: I wanted to make her really tall and thin just like her original design and keep a softer look to her fur to contrast the sharp red accents. I gave her a sort of heart marking around her face that mildly resembles a skull just to hint a little at her demonic origins. God I hate hooves but they're so cute

Vaggi: made her more bulky and muscly because she deserves to be a buff queen like that. I didn't really know how to add the ponytail into the design effectively, so I just made her fluffier than normal. Her exorcist design has short cropped fur because of that to show the hair growth she had in hell. Why does her exorcist design have a different fur pattern? Ehh, don't worry about it. Tried to give her the horns she had on her exorcist mask but tbh it kinda looks ass. I tried tho

Cherri: I love her hair and wanted to keep the wildness of her original design, so I gave her a mane :). Gave her the sharp pink patterns that look like explosions because yes. I love this one tbh. May be one of my favourites

Angel: the hear horns go hard. Matching heart patterns with Husk? Thought it'd be cute. Got rid of his bowtie. It's cute, but not necessary to recognize his character. Gave him mandibles to keep more of the spider theme that was in his original design

Husk: literally just the same but with broken red horns on the side. Like honestly he's designed enough in the original design that I don't need to translate much

Alastor: I mean c'mon you gotta have the deer antlers. Kept him sleek and slightly more angular to show his imposing demeanor. Kinda forgot to make the little X on his forehead green tho. It's fiiiine

Nifty: little gremlin:). Gave her some antennae to lean into the bug theme. Other than that not much is different

Something that would be interesting to see for me in the upcoming seasons is how Lute's unstable mental state may affect her hallucination of Adam in a way as her mental state gets worse.

The apparition of the man she loved who first guided her to action and purpose when he first appeared

Could start to mock her

The ghost of him begins appearing with the same stab wounds she last saw him with, even just for fleeting moments. Her own subconscious reminding her of what she's fighting for, and what she's losing by waiting. It would also probably not help with her sanity

Lute is getting restless, surely. Standing by and doing nothing must really be hitting her hard.

I think it would be a fairly disturbing but interesting look at how she's doing in further seasons and make for some fun moments

Decorating my guitar case and felt like I needed to add this. World's shit rn and I'm trying to show support how I can (bear in mind I can't draw fists so I couldn't add all the symbols I'd like. It was hard enough to draw the one)
