“I rescind that last comment.” Jane realizes that her words might’ve been a bit odd. “ I apologize, I’ve gotten my words mixed up.” Jane rubbed her temples, as thoughts swam in her head while she wanted to appear put-together. “But you still should first extend your hand before you strike with it. The peggies, faith, even the brothers have lives and families you know nothing of. Yet it seems you have no problem senselessly slaughtering them.

Ryn-Kar smiled down at Galahad, shaking her head. Her wavy, golden locks shimmered like precious metal; her crystalline eyes beamed happily.
“I’ve been up for a while. I’m still getting used to.. Earth time.” Ryn admitted after a second as she walked to Galahad. They’d been together years, yet Ryn could never seem to adjust to time differences.
“ A super was giving us problems. Came in complaining about a broken foot, saying it didn’t hurt, but then needed an emergency surgery. We had to sedate him because he kept on complaining as we worked.” She rubbed her eyes as she hung up her coat. “Do you need me to get you a sleep aid, or are you planning on waiting it out?” Galahad was still in doctor mode, her voice full of analytical concern from a doctor to patient point of view. Galahad was concerned but she didn’t want to impose on her wife, she was already in everyone’s business being the doctor mom of their family.
My deputy ; Jaya isn’t one of my muses on here but on my group rp blog @postremusvirgo I made a long ass post about the ending of fc5 and I wanted to share it because it’s my favorite thing I’ve written recently.

I wanted to touch on what I mean in my description by “ The Apocalypse Ending” spoilers for whoever hasn’t played Far cry 5 but whatevs.

When faced with walking away or facing things head-on, the Junior deputy faced things head on. She drove to the compound with Whitehorse, Hudson, Pratt and with murder in her eyes, and she damn well intended on arresting Joseph seed, or killing him if he strayed her hand.
“You made martyrs of my family, and I am prepared to do the same of yours.”
He’d enslaved her friends in the bliss and made her made a choice. They held their guns to the heads of her co-workers, the people she’d killed people to save. She’d killed hundreds to save them.
“Countless people have been killed , AND IT IS YOUR FAULT. The world is on fire , AND IT IS YOUR FAULT. Was it worth it? Was it? When are you going to realize that not every problem can be solved by a bullet?
She had a choice and she chose to end it. She didn’t want to walk away, no matter the consequences. No matter if God himself would come down and smite her. If the devil himself rose up and asked her to walk away she’d push him aside and keep.on.going.
“John was wrong. Your sin is not wrath. You’d rather watch the world suffer and burn than swallow your PRIDE. and the lamb broke the sixth seal and lo, there was A GREAT EARTHQUAKE.THE SUN BECAME BLACK AND THE MOON TURNED TO BLOOD ”
He’d forced her to fight them all. Her friends, the people she’d met along the way and the ones she’d killed to get back. She had blood on her hands, and no matter of scrubbing would get her clean. It was her destiny, from the moment she stepped foot from the womb her bath was determined to fall this way, and she was determined to win. Like her name, Jaya meant Victory for the Cheyenne people - so too would she bring victory to the people of hope county and shut down Eden’s gate for good. She’d saved her friends from the bliss, and it was time to end it. FOr fucking good.
“ Forgive them father , for they know not what they do. And when the lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven , and the seven angels before god were given seven thrones… and there were noises , thunderings, lightenings, and an earthquake. And I heard a great voice from the temple say to the angles ‘ go your ways… and pour from your vials , the wrath of god upon the earth. ’”
He had smiled when he said that, and though his dirty hands were in cuffs - Jaya knew she was not safe from him. She would never be safe from the father as a large blast erupted from the distant mountainside. A mushroom cloud appeared, and it was at last - the collapse. He’d set off a nuclear bomb in the bunkers, as a final failsafe from the deputy.
“ It is finished child. “
And he sang. He sang the same haunting song that every American knew by heart- ah-mazing grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I’m found. I once was blind, but now I see. - The deputies and sheriff Whitehorse hightailed it to the truck as Jaya’s friends scrambled to find a place to get away from the fallout. They would not live. None of them would. But her. And him. Jaya drove the truck back to Dutch’s bunker. He’d protected her in the beginning and would protect her in the end. They just had to make it there. The sky was red as blood and he just kept on singing as they drove. As they reached their destination, a tree fell on the car and knocked everyone out. But He woke up first. He killed the others, and carried her on his back down, down into the bunker.
“You know what this means? It means the politicans have been silenced.It means the corporations have been erased. It means the world has been cleansed by god’s righetous fire!…. But most of all …. it means I was right. THe collapse has come. The world as we know it is over. ”
He had killed Dutch. Her first friend and protector after this goddamned ordeal. He’d tied her to the bed and watched her closely as he approached. Jaya wanted to cry. Everyone was dead. Everyone was goddamned dead. She had fought, and killed, and sacrificed everything for NOTHING! Everyone was dead! She had to look at him with a determined expression but the way his icy blue eyes bore into her soul le her know that he knew. He knew she was broken. Her resolve was gone and she was just a weak woman like he had wanted her to be. And he smiled.
“ i waited so long. I waited so long for the prophsey god whispered in my ear to be fufilled. I prepared my family for this moment , and you took them from me. I should kill you for what you have done. But you’re all I have left now… you’re my family. And when the world is ready to be born anew , we will step into the light. I am your father , and you are my child. And together we will march to Eden’s Gate. “
He sat back and watched her cry. Tears rand down Jaya’s face and her brain stung with aches as she cried out everything she had in her. She knew she wasn’t going to be just his child. He was going to need more, and he knew that she knew this. Jaya cried herself to the point of passing out, to which he smiled even brighter and whispered in her ear…
“I’m not trying to.” The woman grunts through gritted teeth as the barbed wire is ripped from her. See, she didn’t mean to get caught up in this mess, but it was late at night and she hadn’t seen the bear until it was right up her ass. He wasn’t trying to hurt her, just sniffing her, but Jane freaked out and comically tumbled down the hill into the barbed wire. Luckily for her, Margot was nearby. They seemed to be running into each other quite often. “It is, though I’m lucky it’s you. You know what you’re doing.”
‘i am the LAW and i have tried reasoning with them. as you can see, it has not turned out well. any other ideas?’
“As am I, Junior deputy. I’m from the local office - stationed right here, so I don’t know what kind of tone you’re using but we are equals.” Jane sounds defensive, and her stance changes ever so slightly as she eyes the junior deputy up. “ From what I’ve seen you didn’t even take the time to weigh the options out. Cuffing Joseph seed isn’t exactly reasoning with them.”

“Stay back!” Mia shouted, after hearing someone come into the store where she was trying to hide out in. “ Stay back! I’ve got a knife! If you’re one of those things, I’ll kill you!” She was scared and backed into a dark corner of the tiny remains of what used to be a bakery. She’d left her pocket-knives at the hotel and was forced to grab the bread-cutter when the monsters backed her in.

A woman with dark black hair stumbles towards you. She looks behind her as if she’s being followed but you aren’t quite sure if she is. The woman looks back to you and you can see clearly she’s holding her side as she groans out “ You’ve gotta help me!”
