other than her cds , probably her old cowboy hat ? she has a straw one with a big piece of turquoise in the middle that she got from one of her mom's best friend when she was eleven and it's gone with her on every beach trip , hundreds of car rides , dozens of parties . it reminds of her home and now it mostly sits on a hook next to her closet door , until she wears it to go home for the summer .

oh easy , she was the queen of english class . and trust , there was nothing she loved more than when her writing got used as an example of what to do right . she practically glowed in the dark , she would be so happy . she even made some extra money on the side writing papers for other people but let's pretend you didn't read that . as for her worst subject , she nearly set every single science lab on fire in every grade , even environmental science . it was sort of what made her realize that she could never be a nurse , just the thought of a covalent bond makes her wanna vom .
her phone , her lip gloss , her obnoxiously loud keychain with her beloved labubu ? she wishes she had some sentimental family heirloom or beautiful ring or just something cute & vintage and eye grabbing but her beloved carmex will just have to be enough ( if you see her with chapped lips , just know she is not doing well )

answered here but another answer would be her cd collection . some of it is older than her , relics she found in the garage years back . her mother was a huge music nerd , probably where rocio inherited her love from , and she's got all the oldies on immaculately maintained cds that her mother used to blast in her beautiful old chevy . she remembers her entire childhood through those cds .

there are two things that rocio knows nothing about : nursing & hockey . yet , her parents think that she's a nursing major at the top of her class , which is simply because she has never been able to bring herself to admit that she did not go with the one major they wanted of her . the hockey thing has very little impact on her , though , despite working at the rink as part of the clean up crew . she did lie on her resume that she could ice skate which is why she avoids the inside of the arena at all costs . instead , she happily vigorously cleans the deep fryers so she can avoid falling flat on her face .
the only daughter in her family , the first granddaughter in three generations , a first generation high school graduate , the one that was supposed to exceed all expectations and yet , rocio broke all of her parents' rules by joining the theater club in high school . she'd always loved musicals growing up and she was at her happiest when she was singing . that was all fine and good and dandy when she was just singing as a hobby but for a career ? don't be ridiculous . be serious . be an engineer , a lawyer , a teacher , a nurse .
despite getting a full performance arts scholarship to um , rocio's parents were convinced she would go to college in their home state of texas . instead , she did the unthinkable … she lied . her pa scholarship became a nurse scholarship and she was packing a parka to take with her to michigan , under completely false pretenses . she came to accept that no one in her family would ever see her at her happiest , on stage , singing her heart out . that was okay , she guessed , it was worth it … sorta .
before she got to um , she knew nothing about hockey . like okay … they skate and hit each other … now what ? still , she needed a job and cleaning up after the games were over was a great gig , allowed her time to run lines while cleaning and didn't interfere with her already packed schedule so she avoids the ice and the players and is never without her headphones . when she visits home , she prays that no one gets hurt or comes down with a cold because the cpr she learned from the office would only get her so far .

there's a big ol' picture that she actually went to walgreens and had printed out , put it into a frame and it sits very proudly on every dresser that she's had since she got to ann arbor : her first leading role in a play at the school . it was the realization of a lot of dreams coming true and she loves to look at it passively , just to remember how happy she was then and has been since .
a total morning person , rocio is usually up at the ass crack of dawn , puttering around her small apartment , usually with music playing from her very worn out cd player ( she's a big proponent of physical media ) . she has a six step nighttime skincare routine but in the morning , it's just washing her face and putting on spf mosturizer . very big on breakfast pastries . cuddles with her cat . she actually does her schoolwork before the eleventh hour ??? so she usually gets some work done on her laptop then either she has to go to rehearsal for something or go to work !
music : what kind of music do they like ? do they have any specific favorite artists / bands ?
* looks into camera like the office * what do you think ? but if we're being for real , she loves most music , especially old school songs . if it came out before she was born , she lowkey adores it . especially women singing about the men that have wronged them . it invigorates her . she listens to mi mayor verganza to pump herself up while on the stairmaster .

whisper it around her , don't even say the real name of it , allude to it as the “ the greek play ” or “ swedish music meets maury ” or something , don't say mamma mia . don't say west side story , little shop of horrors , phantom of the opera , rent … just avoid all direct naming of any musical that has spent any time on broadway . because then she'll talk about it . she knows all the fun facts . she'll be singing suddenly seymour under her breath . she's not obnoxious about it and bursting out into song but ya know … no one wants to hear more “fun facts” about andrew lloyd webber .
