I know it's kind of cliche and sterotypical for someone with my tastes, but mechanical creations turning on their creator and toying with the creator in the same ways they were toyed with is always fun.

Clockwork dolls should be allowed to "preform maintenence" on their maker, all I'm saying.

ooooh no that's so good. i'm a really big fan of when there's a tinge of horror and twinning in it. Like the doll doesn't understand that the creator was built different. so like, the maker gets injured or something, and instead of letting them heal, the doll amputates and changes and uses its own spare parts to fix the creator. its soooo cute when a doll gets to turn its creator into a suboordinate doll that's depressed and smaller and a little sister. smiles.
