havent been doing much in the way of art, but ive been off and on trying to doodle a little more

first set of sketches is Ulfim, my half-orc barbarian from a campaign ive been thrilled to play recently \o/ she whiffs her rolls a lot and clearly needs to keep better track of her glasses, but she managed to crush a manticore’s skull, in mid-air, while plummeting toward the ground, from the back of a hippogriff a couple weeks back so i guess she gets by

i accidentally paired the personality trait “crafted something exceptional on commission, but found the client unworthy. now roams the land looking for someone more worthy to receive it.” with um. the cooking guild... so uh.... ulfim made a really hot hot sauce i guess and now seeks someone worthy enough to. uh. taste it.

tbh tho i meant to draw very many things and got distracted, so

doodling more story of seasons! feels good to be doodling again semi-regularly, even just do silly stuff like this \o/ some johnny (sos protag) and a mistel wearing agate’s hat

this pretty much sums up my entire experience with Story Of Seasons thus far. i havent doodled in a while and i wanted to doodle sos and might do more shortly (esp fritz oh my god im in fritz hell) if i can push myself to scrub the rust off! 

i could gush for paragraphs and paragraghs about how SoS is probably the best game in the franchise to date, how I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a HM game this much since the HM64 days (and I have played so many...), how even the farming system is addictive and fun where in previous games it was really just a means to woo candidates, not to mention the character development???

the character development!!! shouts from the hilltops about the character development!!!!

but ill just say it’s excellent. what a time to be alive.

today i did a thing to unwind but by the end it ended up not being very unwindy but i had a lot of fun with (parts) of this and i am pleased so up it goes onto the tumbles

this is mistel from story of seasons and i will not burden this caption with an explanation of what that means, except to say it is a game by the same people who made the game series formerly known as harvest moon and i am very excited to play it when it is localized to the us
