Counter Composition is an art piece you should see in real life, because it’s mobile. The figures that are attached to the metal frame can move and turn. Through this movement, the light is constantly reflected in a different way. This produces a spectacle of light and shadow. Counter Composition is typical for Kruip’s oeuvre, wherein movement and light always play an important role.
