I´m Mel from Germany, my dad is from Vietnam and my mom from France. Growing up as a multi-racial immigrant child in a wealthy German suburb I often felt like I didn´t really belong and have even been mobbed at school, partly because of my appearance and different background. When I was fifteen I decided that I want to immigrate to California because I really love the idea of a melting pot with people from all parts of the world and ethnicities, living together in an atmosphere of mutual tolerance and liberty to express oneself...Your page and the people you feature are really amazing and show the great diversity of humans here, making me feel like being a part of you guys, even if I ain´t yet...But I know in my heart that I belong here!
