-”True...But it’s dangerous to be alone, especially if their are monsters out and about.” Aurora spoke as she finished healing her nose, wrinkling it and using her fingers to touch it. It seemed it was better now, the burning pain from earlier only a phantom of a memory, and all seemed in place. Tapping her nose, she sighed once more and rubbed her face.

-”Hyrule is such a strange place...” She murmured, gazing a the others face. “I could have sworn I have never been here before. The energy here is something I have never came across before.. The land as well. Yet, the more I travel, the more I feel nostalgic. And speaking of nostalgic..” Taking her hand, she placed it on the others cheek briefly, fingertips brushing against the cheek. Nostalgia hit her once more, stronger. Something nagged at her, the familiarity of his face startled her,

-”Strange, young man, have we met before by any chance? Whats is your name?” Aurora asked, pulling back her hand as she gazed around the small pond and trees. “And where exactly are we?”

{✧} -"𝔒𝔥! 𝔐𝔢𝔯𝔠𝔦 𝔟𝔢𝔞𝔠𝔬𝔲𝔭, 𝔪𝔬𝔫 𝔠𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔦."

The Sorceress smiled widely as the other opened the door to her and showed her the way, a light skip to her step. Well then, it seemed she had found a lovely student here. She hoped the other students were as kind and gentle as the young woman before her. Walking towards the front, she placed her bag and folders onto the desk, being greeted by the murmurs of the classroom. She was unable to hear what the students were saying, but at least they weren’t being too loud or harsh in her hearing. And for that, she was quite grateful.

Straightening herself, she faced the class with a wide smile. Walking around the desk, she made her way to the front of it and leaned against it to make herself comfortable. At this, she could see all the students faces and desks. For a moment, she took the appreciation of the Japanese styled classroom. It was somewhat small, tidy, and neat. 

Seeing Usagi before her, she gave a small wave to her, along with a bright smile, and turned to the class and began to speak. Taking in a deep breath, she clasped her hands together and brought them to her chest. Her best smile on, she spoke,

-”おはようございます! My name is Aurora Briar Rose, and as of now, I will be your substitute teacher for the next week. Ms. Haruna has called in sick for today, and as well as the rest of the week. As much as I wish her a speedy recovery, I hope our time together is pleasant and well cherished.” Smiling at each student, and seeing them paying attention, she continued.

-”Before we dive in, I would like to give more information about me. My first language is not English or Japanese, but French. So as we work together, please forgive me for using the wrong honorifics, of speaking incorrectly, or switching to French. If you see me do this, please alert me. I have been a teacher for 6 months now, but I have a Masters Degree in English Literature, and a Doctorate in Psychology...So don’t try anything,” at that, she winks, “ because I can tell when you’re up to something evil.”

-”Also..Please, feel free to call me Rose, or Aurora. I understand it is a respectful rule to call me by my last name with the title ‘sensei’ but I would be more comfortable if you didn’t.”Clapping her hands, she smiled widely.

-”Now...Before we begin into our lessons. Do any of you have any questions? “

The Sorceress ended up lurching forward over her knees as she was startled, unable to place her hands in front of her. Instead of landing on all fours, she landed face first into the ground before her. Pausing for a second as pain shot through her nose, she twisted around in her skirts to confront who, or what, had approached her. Holding her nose with one hand, she raised the other as it began to glow. Magic kicked instantly through her palm, causing a glowish pink to form around her hand. A natural reaction, at best in these lands.

Her eyes widened as she saw it was another person--Or Hylian, as they liked to be called here. It was a young man with beautiful blue eyes who had approached her from behind, his stance relaxed as he gazed at her with...Worry, it appeared. Lowering her hand slightly, she sighed as she mustered a small glare at the other.

-’It’s...Quite rude to sneak upon someone,” Aurora spoke through her hand, her soft voice muffled by the blockage of it. After a few moments, her glowing hand ceased glowing, and she tried to sit upright, realizing with a start that the other could clearly see her undergarments as she was. Moving quickly, she sat on her knees and rubbed her nose as she continued to gaze at the other.

-”...I’m sorry, I should’t have been rude,” she spoke softly once more, removing her hand to reveal a red nose from her fall. “And...Nothings wrong...” She finished lamely, rubbing her neck. Oh no, did he hear her crying? How embarrassing! And in front of a stranger no less! Blushing, she chuckled softly,

-”Ah...I-I have allergies! That’s why I had tears in my eyes...And sniffling. I’ve been out here for too long,” The Sorceress continued, lying straight through her teeth. Her gaze flickered to the pond a she spoke, embarrassment burning her insides. After a few moments, she returned her gaze to the other.

-”And..What about you? Are you okay? You shouldn’t be out here all alone.”

Link was traversing across the large fields of Hyrule. He had a few run ins with civilians and fellow explores during his adventures, so it wasn’t uncommon to find someone here. What brought him here was that he heard crying while he was currently chopping down trees for firewood. Following the sound, Link soon found a pink haired maiden all on her own. Curious on what was wrong he approached her, not trying to sneak up as he had no reason to startle her.

{✧} 𝔒𝔫𝔠𝔢 𝔪𝔬𝔯𝔢, 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔖𝔬𝔯𝔠𝔢𝔯𝔢𝔰𝔰 𝔥𝔞𝔡 𝔣𝔞𝔦𝔩𝔢𝔡 𝔞𝔫𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯 𝔭𝔢𝔯𝔰𝔬𝔫. 𝔇𝔢𝔰𝔱𝔯𝔬𝑦𝔢𝔡 𝔞𝔫𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔰 𝔥𝔞𝔭𝔭𝔦𝔫𝔢𝔰𝔰.

Aurora wiped away her tears with her wrist, pulling her knees in closer as she leaned her chin on top of her kneecaps. Her long, rose colored hair moved forward, covering her facial features like a curtain. Her soft sobs had stilled quite sometime ago, but the heart ache she felt inside her chest was as fresh as ever. The memory still vividly clear, even though it had occurred three days ago. The little girls tear stained face scarring her, her angry cry still ringing in her ears.

-”I hate you! I hate you! It’s all your fault! Go away, and never come back here.”

 All she had wanted was to know where her dad was...

And it killed Aurora to show the cold, ugly truth to the poor girl. She shook her head as she recalled the vision she brought up...

Burying her face into her knees, she crossed her arms to create a pillow of sorts as she sighed out, feeling a bit cold. She shivered. There was something about this land, something evil was lurking in it...Cold, chilling, and quite powerful. Any wish she granted here brought nothing but misery to those who asked. There was no shred of hope or happiness anywhere.

 Whatever land she had fallen into, it was filled with hopeless and sadness.

-”What’s going on...?” She muttered quietly to herself, raising her face to gaze at the small pond. “Why is this land so beautiful...Yet, cruel?”

“Oh hello there, miss! You seem new here. My I love your hair! Pink suits you so well!” Usagi was simply awestruck. She wondered who this charming lady was. She thought maybe she was the new substitute teacher for her class, since Miss Haruna had called in sick earlier.

“Tell me. What’s your name, miss? My name is Usagi Tsukino, but you can call me Usagi. Everybody around here does, hehe.” Usagi smiled hoping to learn more about this fascinating new arrival.

-”Why, hello, Usagi-chan. You have such a lovely name. It’s a pleasure to meet you. My name is Aurora Rose, but please, call me Rose if it makes you comfortable,” Aurora responded back happily, unable to fight back the contagious positive aura the beautiful young lady gave off. She reminded the Sorceress of forest fairies, how their smiles and voices just simply spark warmth into the soul. She felt herself relaxing immediately, earlier nervousness disappearing fast as she thought of the other owning a pair of fairy wings..

-”Or Rose-chan...I’m not sure if that’s correct. Please, forgive me if I use the wrong honorifics,” she murmured softly, scratching her cheek as she blushed brightly. “I am still getting use to using them properly and I tend to be incorrect. I do hope not to offend.” Using her hand, she brushed some hair behind her ears and held out a folded piece of paper to the other.

-”This is..Miss Haruna’s class, am I correct? I’m suppose to be her substitute teacher for the time being. I believe she called out earlier?” Aurora asked, tilting her head as she rubbed her neck slightly.

-”Oh…I-I’m fine…It’s just a small nosebleed,” Aurora murmured softly, turning her gaze to face the other, via hand covering the sight. The Sorceress felt embarrassed, for she didn’t even notice it happening until someone spoke up. She thought it was just a simple, runny nose..

-”You..You wouldn’t happen to have a napkin or handkerchief, would you?” She murmured, digging in her own pockets in desperation.
